We spent a week there on our honeymoon. It was the best location in CDMX. The breakfast every day was delicious, everyone we worked with was super nice & helpful, and the price was totally reasonable.

My boyfriend and I had a great stay at Stella B&B. We spent 5 nights in room number 1. It was the perfect place for what we were looking for.... clean, central and a tasty breakfast in the morning. The bed was comfortable, the shower was nice and we felt the room was very cozy. The neighborhood is beautiful and...

I recently stayed 5 nights at Stella. The hotel is tucked away on Avenue Amsterdam, a leafy road in the Condessa area. Location is a big plus. The neighborhood is lively and fun to explore, dozens of good restaurants at various price-points are within walking distance. The decor is nice and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Overall, a...

My fiancee and I stayed at Stella for 3 nights, and had a really nice time. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The location is ideal, and it was easy to other areas of Mexico City from La Condesa. Additionally, the surrounding neighborhood is nice to explore. The B&B is comfortable and nicely decorated. I just finished a wonderful 4-day stay at Stella B and B. The house is comfortable and homey. The staff couldn't be nicer. The breakfasts were delicious. Then, when I suffered the misfortune of leaving my cell phone and wallet in a taxi, the staff artfully and diligently managed to get it back and ship it to me here in...

Excellent location! The rooms are nice and the inner garden is delightful. The setting is very simple but the building was built and decorated in a romantic colonial style. Good price/quality relation for what you get and the location.

First trip to Mexico City and we could not of picked a better spot. For one, the location was perfect. Condesa and its surrounding neighborhoods are great. Fantastic restaurants, parks and bars are all in walking distance. And most everything else is a quick cab ride away. The house itself is perfect for a trip. Bedrooms are clean, full of...

The staff at Stella helped make my first trip to Mexico City a truly outstanding one. Everything about my stay was smooth, easy, and relaxing starting from when I made my reservation all the way through until I said goodbye. I will definitely stay there again when I go back to Ciudad Mexico, and based on my first visit it's...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Stella is a bed and breakfast located on Amsterdam Avenue in the Condesa neighborhood, Mexico City. The house was designed and built in 1930 by Francisco Serrano, one of the great architects of his generation, who built the Edificio Basurto and Pasaje Polanco, among other Mexico City landmarks. The house was restored in 2010, respecting the original design and period finishes. The décor at Stella mixes art deco and vintage furniture with a stunning collection of Mexican contemporary art. It is clear that each piece of furniture, lighting and artwork has been chosen carefully to complement its specific space. Stella has seven rooms, four in the main house and three in a separate guest house. The hotel uses its own water treatment plant, a rain water retrieval system and solar panels as part of our commitment to the environment. ... more   less
