As a solo traveler for the first time, I was quite tensed visiting Mexico City but this hotel made all the difference. It is centrally located from major attractions in the Zocalo area, waking distance to all major restaurants as well as the local/traditional favorites. This is quite close to the Palace of Fine Arts if you plan to watch... More

We were booked for two nights over the Revolution Day holiday weekend. Four days before our booking was cancelled. We were offered a room at the sister hotel at the airport (hello! We wanted to be in the historic district). Other than that we were on our own in a city where very few rooms were left. Booking.com did offer... More

The location of the hotel was excellent. However, i found the bathtub/shower difficult to use because of the awkward position and depth to get in and out of the tub. Not good for elderly or those with mobility problems. Breakfast buffett was ok, nothing to write home about. Better to go out to any of the other restaurants, i.e. VIPS,... More

The NH Mexico City Centro Historico is located one block away from Zocalo. It is walking distance of most of the Centro Historico attractions. It is far enough away from all of the noise. The rooms are of a pretty decent standard. The bed was a little bit too hard for my liking. The rooms are a decent size. The... More

We received an invitation to visit Mexico City with very good friends who had lived there. They were returning after a nine year absence. Their recommendation was the NH Centro Histórico. We were arriving 3 days before them and would be exploring on our own so the location was perfect-minutes away walking from the Zócalo, the Palacio National, the Catedral,... More

Great location just 5 minutes from the Zocalo. Well-designed, modern rooms. Many choices at the breakfast buffet. Very good value for the money. I would stay here again, and would definitely recommend the hotel.

Fabric roof made it very hot on a nice day. Service was a little surly. Bread was stale. Butter was rancid. Chicken in mole was cold and undercooked. I just had to do a review- first one for a restaurant. Tip- go to Hotel Zocalo Central for wonderful food.
