In my opinion, this is one of the best located hotels in downtown, also it isn't very expensive and it's just around the corner from the tourist walkway, yet only a couple of rooms actually face the street, it is a clean, nice and quiet place to rest after touring the city. It has an elevator for elder or tired... More

after reading how the small the rooms can be and with internal windows, i opted for the balcony room. it had plenty of room and with an armoir and a desk with plenty of room to walk around. the shower had good hot water and a rain shower head with fluffy towels and basket of amenities. the best part was... The Hotel Abu is very new, crisp and fresh in design. Everything is white, black and red. Its staff are ceaselessly cleaning and maintaining its physical plant. In fact I have never seen such relentless and highly visible cleaning and maintenance. The "recepcionistas" at the front desk are friendly and helpful. The rooms are small as others have noted and... Located In the center a minutes walking from the old center, pedestrians street. This is a perfect location. Rooms are clean, nicely decorated with very comfortable beds. The breakfast is good, although only basic coffee, fruits and toast included. For eggs and other local food you pay extra.

A neat and functional hotel in the heart of Oaxaca town. the location of this hotel makes it a winner. Oaxaca is a colourful town, ripe with traditions and history. and this hotel makes everything interesting within easy reach. walk down to the Santo Domingo church and the cultural museum or just relax with a cup of coffee from the... This is a small but very good hotel. Its location is great. The breakfast "included" lacks a great deal as one is served "make believe" orange juice, coffee, fruit, and toast. One can order special plates with eggs, bacon, the usual Mexican items, etc. The beds were nice and the hotel was very clean. Street parking was seldom available and... More

We stayed at this hotel whilst on tour in Mexico. It is a delightful hotel and is located directly opposite a park. The rooms are good but there are no lifts (there is only two floors) so if you have trouble with mobility choose a ground floor. However the porters will deliver your suitcases to your rooms. The staf are... More

Dear Readers, The only thing I can say, is to stay well away from the Hotel ABU when you visit Oaxaca!! Recently, I reserved a Villa for next year through the Hotel ABU. They manage the Reservations for the Villas De Alcala and demanded half a month's rent as a deposit, which amounted to $5000 Mexican Pesos. I paid this... More

Keep searching. Not eorth the money. May look ok on internet but pass the modern recepction and it goes down and down . Particularly bad , rooms are small and poorly fitted , floors and bathroom old , ugly and dirty. The noise of the hotel is terrible , corridors amplify sounds and you here conversations banging etc all night.... More

This hotel could not be more conveniently located! Whatever you need is less than a 10 minute walk. The rooms were a little small but they were cozy. The wifi wasn't reliable because most of the time it didn't work. The complimentary breakfast was usually pretty good and the workers were all friendly. If you do not know Spanish you... More
