Our room was in the 3rd floor in the second building (not the main building with the reception) and is was big, clean and quite with a fireplace :). Our friends on the basement with a room facing the street complained about the noise. Tip: ask for a room in the upper floors. We really enjoyed the courtyard and we...

Located close to downtown in a very beautiful colonial building. There is no air conditioning and no heating except for fireplace of wood. Free first pack of woods and then 30 pesos. Fairly large room. Shower very weak and it takes a long time for water to reach (my room was remote). Breakfast mediocre. Cheap laundry prices.

We arrived in the evening and only stayed one night, but our stay was pleasant - good sleep, clean room, enough space, the receptionists spoke English. Location is central, many bars, restaurants and shops around as well as street vendors (food, souvernirs). If you arrive by bus, you could walk, but it is not so very close so with big...

The hotel is based in two buildings and we were in the one with the restaurant a few yards further from the central square. The staff from the moment we arrived were charming, friendly and efficient; owing to a water leak we had to change rooms the next morning which was dealt with quickly and we were put in a...

In the age where payments are quick, easy, and are facilitated by credit cards and the internet, the Hotel Diego De Mazariegos's staff demonstrated that it is not able to keep up with modern methods. Seven months after my credit card was mistakenly charged a significant amount, and following endless calls and emails with hotel managers and accountants, I am...

Good location in the city center. The room, in particular the bathroom, is very worn. The rooms are located around a lovely courtyards, but there is no sound isolation, so be prepared to hear all steps, talking, doors etc. The wifi works well. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and delicious. The restaurant is also good for a local dinner. The...

There are two parts of the hotel - I was at Dalle 5 de Febrero and it seems to be a bit simpler. Anyway: I felt very good in this hotel and in the room. Expecially I enjoyed the king size bed. The room showed to the patio - so no noise from the streets. But then you always here...

We booked our room here at the last minute while in Mexico. I suggest this as the price was so much lower in pesos than doing it on line from the states. (just about equal to $30 USD) The location is great..right next to the main cathedral of the town. The staff were very nice and the room was excellent....

promised a lot, old courtyard and vintage style building. Near the centre which is good, but let down by uncomfortable rooms. in 2 weeks of touring Mexico this was the only hotel where we had a problem with no hot water for a shower early evening. Breakfast was good, but location is its best feature.
