The breakfast is great and for 600 pesos for a double room, nice and clean and very comfy bed it is spot on. You can't get a better located hotel, but surpisingly still quiet. Wifi is good but doesn't extend to the rooms.

What was good: - We stayed at Casa Margarita for 5 nights in October. The room was excellent and included safe, daily cleaning service and a great shower with plenty of hot water. Great value for money. The owner speaks broken English - you will get along, but basic Spanish always helps. There is a tour service in the hotel...

The hotel is in a great location. The rooms are basic but clean however the staff left something to be desired in particular the resteraunt staff. We were served cold food and it took over 20mins to get the table wiped and served a cup of coffee. When we asked for eggs with ham we were presented with a plate...

Breakfast came with room, but would just go elsewhere. No real helpfulness ny staff. Only redeeming factor was its great location on walking...

We managed to negotiate an out of peak season deal to good to be true, which made our stay at Casa Margarita all the better. The room was slightly on the small size but was wonderful all the same. Quality furnishing ie firm bed & really nice pillow. The hotel is in a main street for San Cristobel nightlife &...

Pretty hotel in pedestrian area so quiet (except for noisy tourists returning late sometimes). Great location, breakfast included, friendly staff and good rooms. Beds hard being our only minor complaint. It is VERY cold at night in this part of Mexico so dress warmly as you will want to be out enjoying the cafe/restaurant life just outside your door!

Beautiful courtyard. Small room, very tiny bathroom and hard bed (but what's new in Mexico). It did have everything we needed though and it also had a TV. The best thing about Casa Margarita we thought was the really handy location - walk out the door and you are in the main part of town with lots of great cafes,...
