Located a short walk from the city centre. Very close to the market and very close to the stop from the collectivos to San Juan Chamula. Clean spatious rooms, nice bathroom, water supply, WiFi, 24H reception desk, coffee/tee all day long. Payment with credit card possible. Oh and we slept perfectly, almost no noise from outside. Would definitely come here...

We arrived in San Cristobal during Easter without reservation, all hotels in downtown fully booked, Hotel Amayal was a saver and very pleased by the prompt and courtesy from the staff, coffee and tea available 24 hrs. rooms were clean and appears the hotel was (very) recently renovated, the best comment about the beds: very nice, fluffy and comfy blankets!...
