Absolutely loved this place. The location, the price, the room, the AWESOME hot shower (you'll want that in San Cristobal), the staff, the terrace, the patio down below: all top-notch. A simple continental breakfast is provided in the morning; my only suggestion would be to improve on the coffee a tad. Otherwise, I can't think of much they could improve...

I loved my short stay in this hostel which is truly international. It is very clean and conveniently located near the church of Santo Domingo and the crafts market. There are paintings everywhere done by ex-guests so the place has a really lived-in feeling. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful especially isable. I highly recommend this hostel to you.

After staying at qhia on two separate occasions I'd say it is probably one of my favorite hostels that I have stayed at after months of traveling. It is a budget hostel decorated by murals and art left by travelers and locals of San cris and has a beautiful garden attracting hummingbirds. The employees are extremely kind and eager to...

I found this perfect hostel! It is located in the most interesting area of the city center, close to the craft markets, between small and pretty streets. It has a large terrace with views of the city, and on the same roof there is a large common room available, for the relax of all the guests. There, you can read,...

We felt right at home in the cozy atmosphere at Qhia during our five night stay. Good facilities, pleasant and helpful staff, and a simple breakfast is even included. Just a short walk to most anywhere in San Cristóbal and easy access to necessities close by. Alejandro is ready and willing to help out with ideas/recommendations on activities. Highly recommended.

It was a very pleasant stay and the owner was a very nice and social person. At the hostel you can really relax, which is something you can definitely use after visiting the lovely but busy town of San Christobal. Because of the excellent location of the hostel, you can visit the town by foot in no time. In the...

It is a most welcoming hostel run by a friendly young man called Alejandro; a hostel full of nice globe-trotters from all over the world, with a marvellous terrace lounge where you can light a warm chimney fire, which makes you feel so comfortable in this wonderful, but rather cold Mexican town in winter. Best atmosphere and yet calm and...

Staying at Hostel Qhia was a real treat because of the warm and personal service. Alex is very welcoming and is on hand to help you with everything you might need. He makes breakfast each morning (home made banana or fig jam with warm croissants, and freshly made lemongrass tea) where travellers can meet and share travel tales. The roof...
