This is an excellent place to really feel like in Mexico, just like if you were back 100 years, every detail of this building will transport you to those times. I bet you won't have much opportunities to be in a place like this. Having said this, please don't expect the latest technology in the rooms, but you will have... More

We stayed here for several nights while visiting our daughter who was studying archaeology in the area. The hotel is very nice and quiet; located inside a tall brick wall that blocks out a lot of the ambient street noise, even though this is not a very loud or busy part of town anyway. The room was large, clean and... More

We had a great room with a balcony, restful setting. Great service from the staff and a short $30 peso taxi ride to the center of the city and all attractions. Free Parking behind the property and a breakfast with fresh orange juice, fabulous coffee fruit and local breakfast bread.

Excellent restaurant with nice and friendly people. Amazing antiques everywhere inside the hotel. You feel like in a 5* hotel, we arrived late in the night, the owner even made fire for us... More

We just visited this hotel few weeks ago, It's wonderful! The moment you get there you are welcome by the staff very warm way, the style of the Hotel is like an old Mexican Hacienda, surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers. Music is being played all day, relaxing music. Rooms are cabin style, very comfortable, cozy, the only "negative" aspect I... More

Large and beautifully decorated room! Lots of windows and opens right in front of the lawn. Ask for room number 3. Nice landscape and the hacienda is full of antiques and paintings. Wood floors, wood beams, brick stucco walls make the hotel feel real cozy!! Will definitely stay here next time in San Cristobal!!

Absolutely wonderful grounds, you will be very well pleased! Priced well below everyone else, but should be well over a 5star resort for sure... So blessed to have found this place, will be back again for sure!

I did not expect such nice Hacienda style and I was very sad that I only stayed only one night, I want a house like this hotel! All the decor is just so authentic and genuine. I really felt in the country side or up in the mountains or at the ranch very well preserved, clean and cozy.

Every wall, every corner has something to improve your stay in this gorgeous hotel, it might be somewhat scary to some, comfortable and cozy to others. You will not find many hotels like this in San Cristobal

This colonial hacienda transports you to the colonial era when the Spaniards conquered Mexico. Although not situated downtown of San Cristobal, the taxis are cheap and is a 10 min drive. The staff goes the extra mile! Want to go back already. The rooms have high ceilings with lumber beams and the walls and floor is made out of large... More
