good staff, free water & coffee and cookies in the am. Quiet, small beds & rooms but the location is great. Right off main street, between Real de Guadalupe and Madero. Try Tierradentro & La Lupe for eats, Latinos and Zirko for salsa dancing. Wifi mainly in lobby.

This hotel is close to the main square and a pedestrian area with endless shops and restaurants. It's also within walking distance to the large market for souvenirs, the post office and ATMs. Laundry is 45 pesos and takes about 24 hours. The wifi signal is excellent, but only works in the lobby. The beds are comfortable with enough blankets...

Perfect location to explore the city. You are one block away from the main street and less than 5 minutes on the main square. There are plenty of restaurants and shops around the hotel. If you stay there over the week-end be aware of bars near the hotel that might generate noise until late at night. Rooms are simple but...

Baron was a really good hotel and a great base to explore San Cristobal. There's not so much in the way of amenities but you don't need it as the town is seconds away. Staff were very friendly and helpful and put out coffees and cakes for arrivals.

We stayed in this hotel as part of a G Adventures Tour which was in a nice central location but was very much a room only. Although there was a reception desk & the rooms were around a central courtyard there was no bar, restaurant of facilities of any kind apart from wifi. The rooms were small, a bit grubby...

A good hotel, in the heart of San Cristobal de las Casas. A quiet area, clean room with strong, hot showers, stiff mattress. Right in the heart of town with restuarants and shops nearby, lots of good coffee shops and places for breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful.

I love this hotel. It's in a great location and has an extremely nice staff. It is right off the main drag...so you're close to everything. (1 block from the Zocalo). Usually hot coffee and always hot showers for those cold san cris nights. Close to all of the travel agencies as well.
