Bela's B&B is the most appropriate name for this B&B - as without Bela it just would not be the same. She is the "den mother / social director/ sightseeing advisor/ friend you always wanted to have". She runs a great little B&B. We had the master suite with the sitting area in the room, but rarely used the sitting...

I know other people have probably said this, but it's still true for me: I felt at home at Bela's! Actually, I didn't really wanna come back home when it was time. My room was comfortable and always clean. I tried to make my bed every morning, but I could see that it was still made perfectly once the service...

. . .what more could I want. We had a great time at Bela's, she and Manuela are the team to beat! The B & B is beautiful and plushly comfortable, everything was immaculate, and gorgeously decorated with indigenous handi-crafts. Just what I wanted to see. Bela was eternally patient with our many many questions and was a source of...

I had the most wonderful opportunity to vacation with a friend in MX and find Bela's B&B! I was so warmly welcomed and had the most cozy, clean and warm room. Bela was an amazing host and each morning I awoke to the best coffee and wonderful breakfast of fresh fruit, OJ, or whatever I was hungry for. Manuela, your...

We stayed 10 nights at Belas, if I had to do it again I would have stayed a few nights there and moved around Chiapas a bit more. I think the price of 70 to 80 $ per night is a lot for the area and although it has a nice physical setting the visit for us was clouded by...

We're so sorry you didn't enjoy your stay and didn't find someplace more to your liking. We would have happily helped you look for more economical lodging had your requested.

Some people stay at B&B's for the locale, the people, the TLC, the 'home away from home' feeling. At Bela's you get all of these, and more! This was the first vacation in my life where I was genuinely sad to come back home. Bela is the consumate Innkeeper, and stepping into her B&B is like entering an English country...

My girlfriend and I stayed at Bela's for two weeks and felt completely at home. This was my 5th trip to San Cris and my girlfriend's first and we will be back. The location is in the heart of the city, (e.g. Santo Domingo Church/Market), it is very quiet, the rooms all face and open to a green area with...

We stayed at Bela's for four wonderful nights. Bela is a delight. Helpful, interesting, and sensitive, she made sure that we learned about the city and surrounding villages and helped us find activities that were of special interest to us. The location couldn't be better, on a quiet street near the town center. The rooms and surrounding gardens were beautiful,...

My husband had stayed at Bela's in 2010, and described it as the best B&B he'd ever stayed in! How right he was. We stayed at Bela's at the beginning of a month long trip in Mexico, and what a wonderful start to our holiday. There's really nothing more I could add to the glowing reviews here, we agree with...
