This is a cheap place to stay in the center of Taxco. Really easy to visit the town and the Hostel is cute with a rooftop from where you can see a wonderful view in the city. But the rooms are not clean and some in bad conditions (the ceiling was falling down). The people are really nice and the...

I took a bed in the co-ed dorm at 180 MXN$/night. The view from the terrace is amazing. You can see the cathedral and it looks especially nice while enjoying a cold cerveza. It is also about a 5 minute walk to the central plaza. The bad is that the hostel itself is underwhelming in services for backpackers and it's...

very nice view, clean, good location. when there are more than 4 persons in the dormroom it can get quiet full. but since there were only 3 other travellers in the whole hostel there was plenty of space! best budget hostel in taxco!

We had a great time in Taxco which is a lovely town! The owner is a very nice, helpful and friendly person. We had some very nice conversations. The hostel has many different types of rooms which all have pretty wall paintings. There is also a beautiful terrace where you can see a nice view of the city. The location...

We stayed there for 2 nights, and really enjoyed our stay. The terrace is nice place to relax and provides with a perfect view at the Cathedral and for watching the sunrise. The owner is a very nice person, helpful and friendly and tries to get to know his guests. The hostel is perfectly situated, in a quiet small cobblestone...

The price was the main reason I chose this hotel. The owner showed me the dorm. Though it didn't look that attractive, it was fine. I slept well both nights. The view was good from the balcony. There was hot water 24h. I liked the location too. Though I couldn't communicate with the owner, he seemed pretty nice and honest.

I stayed here for three nights. The dorm was 160 pesos. The dorm itself was fine, and the beds bases are made out of concrete so you don't have to worry about tossing and turning and annoying another person on the bunk bed, haha. There is an ensuite bathroom and shower. I didn't see anyone clean the room while I...

The location is perfect you are very fast in the centre with a lot of restaurants and shops. The bus station estrella blanca is very close you don't need a taxi. The staff and special the chef of the hostel are very friendly and helpful. When I stayed there it was very quiet, I think it was the low saison....

The location is good. If you arrive with costa line bus, you can walk around 7 min to get to the hostel. The shared toilets are dirty. I arrived late night, and I got private room (200pesos), was ok. The dorm (160 pesos) was to hot, there wasn't windows. I stayed for another night, and the toilet was not clean...

Hostal Joan Sebastian sounded like an inviting place in Taxco and it really is! It is the most amazing hostel you can think of! It is run by a retired doctor – Toño – who personally gets in charge of his guests. Toño is a fantastic host and goes out of his way to make you feel at home. He...
