Really nice hotel, beautifully decorated inside communal areas as well as bedrooms. Centrally located close to the main square and really friendly staff. Have stayed here twice now and never found anything to complain about. Highly recommended.

We found Veracruz safe and we are both over 70. The hotel is right on the parade route, at least it was for at least one of them. View the parage from above the street on their second floor terrace overlooking the park.
