I needed a hotel for just one night (arriving early evening and checking out very early morning) as had an early flight out of Cancun Airport. The inexpensive airport hotels were all fully booked. I booked a four nights stay at this hotel and as soon as a got there I started having problems. The hotel smells like mold, every piece of furniture is old; the walls are cracked and dirty, although it is a four-floor installation there are neither elevators nor staff to help carrying the luggage. As other reviewers have pointed out here, this isn't a hotel that you take someone to if you want to impress them. It's a typical older Mexican hotel. If you are looking for a decent place to sleep and save money for your vacations this is great option. Don't expect a hi class hotel, accomodations are very simple, but safe and very well located. Hotel owner was very friendly and helpful. Room had air conditioner and fan. Bed was ok; worn out. Two sets of window doors opened; corner room. Water was hot and shower was good.
