Our family of four enjoyed our visit here. Spent 3 nights total. The premises are very peaceful with all rooms opening to the lush garden and patio including hammocks & swimming pool. The staff was welcoming and helpful - we felt at home! The breakfast was always delicious. Rooms were spacious, clean & comfortable -- especially the beds & pillows!...

This place is 'very good'. Easy check in, clean room, decent breakfast, and close to the bus station. While in many cities, the area around the bus station is sometimes a bit seedy. But in this case, there are several restaurants within in walking distance or a short cab ride. Highly recommend the local experience. I noticed that my room...

Good morning and thank you for commenting on your stay. The kitchens inside the rooms, has a refrigerator, stove, sink and table with chairs, when one is going to cook you can ask for a complete kit of kitchen in reception. The kitchen equipment has no cost, the refrigerator is disconnected and we keep it clean, consuming electric current would...

Near the junction of the busiest streets in Cancun lies a quiet small attractive hotel with an inner garden of trees and a pool--an oasis in the city. Walking in we were greeted warmly by Martha. Our standard double room on the 2nd floor was spacious with comfy king bed, flat screen tv, mid sized kitchen fridge and sink and...

Thanks and please, when you return, invite friends and family. There are a number of activities to visit and we recommend several. 1. May to September each year is the spawning season of the sea turtle. 2.- End of May to Sep we visit the biggest fish in the world (TIBURON BALLENA) incredible. 3.- see the spider monkey in its...

We stayed here while traveling through Cancun and liked it so much we booked again for the return trip. The hotel is very eco friendly which we like, but is also very comfortable, has a great free breakfast and the grounds are very soothing. Great place in central Cancun to stay.

Thanks for your comments, I will share them with my colleagues and they will feel very happy. We would also like to inform you that the Botanico Garden opens from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. where you can see "spider monkey" families in their natural habitat. Thank you Eduard RH manager

Returning to El Rey del Caribe for a second visit, I brought my sister with me this time, and she was as impressed as I. She spent long hours in a hammock by the pool, reading a book or watching the birds and lizards who visited the garden, or exploring the residential neighborhood nearby. (Meanwhile, I was having extensive dental...

I stayed here with my family for 9 nights beginning on March 9, 2017. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to go back. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and safe. There is an actual safe in the room but you need to bring a padlock to secure it. The pool is small...

Good morning, this is the longest comment we have received and the best commentary and that all around. I commented that only 30 km away is Puerto Morelos where the botanical garden is where you can still see the spider monkey in its natural habitat. Also from the end of May until September is the spawning of the sea turtle...

Absolutely perfect get-away from everything, including the tourist trap of the hotel zone. This hotel feels like it's someone's life-long dream, with inch-thick vines that have clearly been trained over years and years to cover support beams so your hammock feels like it's in the middle of the jungle. Lush, beautiful, and so peaceful. Staff speaks English well enough, but...

Thank you very much for your comment. We remind you that the nesting season for sea turtles is from mid-May to mid-September, as is the visit to our coastal whale shark, the largest fish in the world, both incredibly incredible. The botanical garden of Puerto Morelos can see spider monkeys in their free habitat, do not miss it. It is...

So I flew into Cancun at the worst time - 2nd January, between the New Year and the start of a massive festival - oops! Standing in Cancun Airport I was desperate for a reasonable and decent hotel, so although this one felt a little pricey at around US$100 I booked it. When I arrived I wasn't sure - the...

We thank you very much for your comment. We want to remind you that the sea turtle nesting season is from mid-May to mid-September, just like the visit to our shark-whale shores, the biggest fish in the world, both incredibly amazing. It is good that you know that when they book with 30.60, or 90 days in advance they get...

We stayed 2 nights in room 7 and discovered at 5:30am that the staff set up for breakfast early. They only serve breakfast so the tables and chairs are stacked for the day until the following morning. This hotel is an oasis in the middle of the ugliest city- my opinion. The service is friendly and fast, the rooms are spacious and clean. I suggest the 2nd floor rooms as the rooms on the main floor have windows on the main street: noisy with tremendous traffic. The garden with swimming pool, fountains and hammocks has lots of...
