This was a great hotel for our stay. The restaurants were excellent, as well as the food and the bar. It was not crowded so beach chairs and pool chairs were readily available. Staff is super friendly and service was superb. The reason for the 4 instead of 5 is the app. The hotel requires the use of the app to book any reservation at the restaurants. Many users had problems with the app not working. It took 2 days before mine started working and even then the information provided was incomplete and/or inaccurate. For example, it showed the Blue Agave as open when it had been closed for 2 days and for the remainder of the week. Menus were NOT available via the app. You have to actually visit the restaurant and scan their QR Code to see the menu. This makes it difficult to decide what restaurant you might want to eat at. Reservations made via the app seemed to be impossible to change or cancel. Your Stay information did not show the reservations made. Very cumbersome. Cleanliness is A plus. You cannot touch any food at the morning buffet. Servers are there to dish it out. I saw tables being constantly wiped and seating has more than adequate spacing. They take the COVID scare very seriously.…
Stayed at the Paradisus for 5 days/4 nights. Absolutely no complaints. The staff were friendly and accommodating well-beyond what we expected and definitely were what made our stay here memorable and so relaxing. We couldnt have asked for better service. Special shout-out to Rene and Dedier, waiters by the pool, who were so hospitable and friendly as were their bartenders/assistants, Sergio and Antonio. They kept the drinks flowing constantly, consistently checked to see if we needed anything and even offered to bring us fresh towels throughout the day. Martin, Alfredo and Orlando were the most gracious and hospitable servers we had the pleasure of meeting at the various restaurants during this trip; they couldnt do enough to make sure we were satisfied. From service to food and beverage to the room to the beauty of the property and cleanliness/Covid protocols in place, the property was first class all the way but the staff are what make a hotel special and this is certainly the case at the Paradisus. I was quite especially impressed with the precautions the hotel and staff were taking with regards to Covid...taking them more seriously than a lot of people in the US!! Just one example: even though utensils were wrapped and sealed in paper bags, they never once touched it; instead, placing it on the table using tongs. Will definitely be making a return to this hotel in the future. …
My husband and I enjoyed our stay here this week. I like the ambiance of the hotel. The beach is beautiful. They have very good food for lunch at the restaurants. I found the best dinner to be in the restaurant Mole. The drinks were very good also. I love the little gelato stand and coffee bar stand with the cute macaroons. The nightly entertainment seemed amateur and it is set up at such a far distance it is hard to see the performers. The gym is good but you have to make an appointment and they close 3pm so this was an inconvenience. I read in many of the reviews about an upgrade for the Reserve Club and an offer to join the Circle Vacation Club. We were never offered either of these during our stay. I would love to come back soon.
The resort is amazing!!!! Very beautiful, the room is enormous!!!! The food, the staff , everything was perfect!!! You can't miss the dinner at Vento restaurant !! I recommend a lot the upgrade to "The reserve" !!! The place is beautiful, the Bali beds are amazing!!! The butler Aaron takes care of everything for you, it is really amazing!
What a wonderful experience with Paradisus Cancun! We came here to take some time off and recharge our batteries. It is not our first time at a Melia/Paradisus resort as we really love the brand and the quality they offer as well as their efforts in being a sustainable company. The Hotel: Cancun and the tourism/hotel area is a rather packed place however the resort is spacious and very well maintained. There is plenty of staff around keeping the place clean and nice! The building itself consists out of 5 pyramids with rooms. The main building hosts all the restaurants that you get to chose from and all guests services. Wifi coverage is very good. We had a nice room on the 6th floor and sea view. The Guests: 70% of the people are US visitors that only stay for a few days. The remains are a divers mix is Europeans, Russian, Latin Americans and very few Asian people. During our stay the hotel had an occupancy rate of around 50%. The experience: Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The food was really nice esp the authentic Mexican restaurant. The staff was super nice and was very proactive to refill drinks etc. we mostly had lunch and break at the Lapalapa restaurant as we liked the the food as well as the staff such as Miguel, Daniel, Ruben, Cesar or Max who took charge of the Balibeds. There were also very good activities offered such as Sports (we did yoga) or Art (we did the painting with Tannya and the team from handmade_cancun and really enjoyed it). Things to improve: There is really not much that could be done better. We loved our stay and look to come back ASAP!!!!…
