The hotel itself, on first impressions looks impressive. However, on closer examination it is quite a tired, large concrete hotel in desperate need of a rather large makeover. The hotel seems to pride itself on the number of bars and restaurants it has. They should not. The main buffet restaurant, "Magnos" has what could possibly be the worst buffet food...

So much food I must of gained 10 pounds. I will say that I thought the food court food was a lot better then the individual restaurants. Stay away from the Japanese place! Water park and the pools kept the kids busy while I was scuba diving.

(from an AMERICAN) PLEASE read the reviews carefully before you book this hotel! The reviews are all true...Just got back from spending spring break at The Great Parnassus with husband and kids....we arrived from our plane and had to wait 3 hours for our room to be ready...the lobby was very hot because it is open air, (many places in...

Travelled from Apr 7-14th with two boys aged 11 and 5. Booked an oceanview family room with bunk beds. Had a beautiful view of the beach & water from our balcony. We tried all of the restaurants except for the french restaurant - all were great. The best thing about the a la carte restaurants was that you didn't need...

I give this hotel a 3 star rating. Everything about this hotel is just average. The food is just ok, was not impressed w/ any of the restaurants. I would say the Portofino was the best of them. Expect to wait over an hour for room service. The beds in the room are very firm, and you can hear your...

Worst food ever, all fried. drinks are watered down, no refridgerators in rooms! who ever heard of that? elevators are full all the time, whole hotel reeks of nasty food. No guacamole in entire hotel. No butter, everything tastes like the nasty margarine they use. Just gross. Beautiful beach, lovely weather, clean rooms. But literally the hotel is built around...

I was really worried about this resort after reading all of the negative reviews. I am so glad I took in consideration that some people were traveling without children and were trying to get everything for nothing. The service from the front desk down to housekeeping was excellent. We originally booked a deluxe oceanview but the family we were traveling...

This was our first trip to Cancun with the family. There was a ton of activities going on every day for the kids and the adults. No pressure to participate. Beach was beautiful and the ocean was a riot. Red flags every day, so not so great for young kids, but we had a ball. Once we got sick of...

My family and I recently spent spring break at this location and for the most part it was a great experience. The room was very clean, but my room on the 1st floor had a smell of mildew. Not sure if it was due to the location was on the beach. 3 out of 5 days my room attendant did...

This hotel was amazing and beautiful! It had so many restaurants and bars to choose from, no line ups except for Big Ben. Food was amazing but the service was a little slow. My favorite was the crepe restaurant, delicious! It's a family resort but we barely noticed the kids during the day since they have their own water park....
