The hotel was clean, service excellent and the buffet food was pretty good. Nice variety of food. The hotel was in a great location and they did a good job acknowledging our 15th Wedding Anniversary. We will come back with the family next time. Our wait staff in restaurant Antonio and Jorge were fantastic!!!

Three generation of ladies age 14 to 64 on 5 day trip that wanted clear blue water, snorkeling and all inclusive food and drinks - did not disappoint! Super clean hotel top to bottom, food was good not great but available all day, and service was amazing. Met lots of people/groups that had been there 10+ times, will definitely return!

The EL COZ has been a nice little all inclusive on the North side of the island! It is close to the airport and has some nice snorkeling right to the south of the hotel. If you have never been to Cozumel this is a nice place for your first visit. Be informed that you will have to stand in...

Stayed for a week with the family. The beach and snorkeling was great, the rest is more than average. Reception staff is very helpful but the rooms while large are very beat up. This is an older and quite outdated hotel. Food variety and ingredient's quality was fine but the cooking is a disaster!!! they spoil good products with terrible...

We spent 5 nights at El Cozumeleno and had a great time. There is a lot to do and snorkeling right out on the private beach was really good! The staff were friendly, the food and drinks were good, and it's close to town but on the quiet end. Highly recommend this Resort for couples, groups and for families with...

Amazing hotel best we've stayed in All inclusive options were awesome. We barely had to leave the hotel, the entertainment was provided every night. Rooms were clean and view from balcony was out of this world. We loved every minute in the many Pools and Jacuzzis. Golf for kids and snorkeling for adults. We had so much fun options

We won't go any other place in Cozumel! This is OUR place. We'll be back for our third trip next year! The location from the airport and town were both within five minutes. Food, beach, pools, atmosphere are all perfect!

I stayed at El Cozumeleno in April. The resort is North of the airport, too far to walk to San Miguel, but a taxi is around 90 pesos ($4). You can enjoy a day trip to town, eat at La Choza or Casa Denis or Kinta and visit Dolphinaris or Stingray Beach. You can learn to fly board or sail....

I loved the property. It is very well maintained. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. The view from the 9th floor is spectacular. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful when questions arose. The pool areas were very nice and plenty of lounge chairs to choose from. I loved that there were hammocks in shaded areas near the...

“Give the card information that the sheets and towels won't be changed unless asked at check in. We didn't notice the card in the room until the last day. ”

“Many Mexican resorts provide a stocked mini-fridge. Some provide a small bottle of tequila. Clever towel animals by housekeepers are common. Seasoned travelers to Mexico enjoy these little touches. El Cozumeleno may wish to follow suit if the cost is not prohibitive. Thanks.”
