Rooms were very nice. Waiters poolside were magnificent! Food was the same pretty much every day and not that great. Loved the fish that would come up to you. Had a great time with family! They made it easy to catch a cab to go into town for shopping and dining! Thank you!

Three generation of ladies age 14 to 64 on 5 day trip that wanted clear blue water, snorkeling and all inclusive food and drinks - did not disappoint! Super clean hotel top to bottom, food was good not great but available all day, and service was amazing. Met lots of people/groups that had been there 10+ times, will definitely return!

I like all-inclusive resorts, but this one has passed it's prime. The food quality is poor,(constant reports of food poisoning) the hotel is rundown, seems to constantly have insect infestation problems of varying degrees and it's on the wrong side of the island for diving, yes, it has it's own pier and dive operation, but your travel time afloat is...

We were so happy with this resort- laid back, great staff, beautiful location on the north side of the island. Since the north side is coral(limestone), the snorkeling is really good. 4.5 mile walk to town, kind of long but did it once for fun. We were in old part of resort- top floor, room was huge! Nice size balcony...

We stayed at the El Coz during the first week in April. My wife and I had last stayed at the resort about 30 years ago; I talked my cousins into joining us, confident that they would enjoy it. I mean, how much could it have changed in 30 years? Answer; plenty! But in a good way. The south tower...

I'll start with the good things first....The staff is very friendly. The outside grounds are very nice. We loved the hammocks on the beach. The pools are nice and we didn't have a problem finding loungers. We had a large balcony that had a beautiful view. Pool bar service is superb. Housekeeping does a great job but this hotel needs...

The hotel was clean, service excellent and the buffet food was pretty good. Nice variety of food. The hotel was in a great location and they did a good job acknowledging our 15th Wedding Anniversary. We will come back with the family next time. Our wait staff in restaurant Antonio and Jorge were fantastic!!!

The EL COZ has been a nice little all inclusive on the North side of the island! It is close to the airport and has some nice snorkeling right to the south of the hotel. If you have never been to Cozumel this is a nice place for your first visit. Be informed that you will have to stand in...

Stayed for a week with the family. The beach and snorkeling was great, the rest is more than average. Reception staff is very helpful but the rooms while large are very beat up. This is an older and quite outdated hotel. Food variety and ingredient's quality was fine but the cooking is a disaster!!! they spoil good products with terrible...

“Many Mexican resorts provide a stocked mini-fridge. Some provide a small bottle of tequila. Clever towel animals by housekeepers are common. Seasoned travelers to Mexico enjoy these little touches. El Cozumeleno may wish to follow suit if the cost is not prohibitive. Thanks.”
