This was our first trip to Cozumel so we had no idea what to expect. We booked through Orbitz and got a great deal at Villablanca for a superior room with free continental breakfast. Here is what we liked about it: Very comfortable king size bed, nice size shower with lots of hot water, swimming pool with available places to...

The whole place is worn and tired. It needs a refurbishment. The location is good. The people are friendly but stuff just doesn't work. The restaurant is marginal. One whole building of rooms barely has water and none of it hot. I got an upgrade because my room wasn't ready. Thank goodness. My traveling companion did not get the upgrade...

Just back from a week long stay at the Villablanca Gardens. Though it's not a luxury hotel, it's got nice, comfortable rooms, good eats, an exceptionally friendly staff and is located equidistant to the city center and the beaches on the southwest side. The people that stay there are down-to-earth types from around the globe, and not a lot of...

The hotel is old but they do keep it clean. We had booked a standard room on Orbitz but when we arrived the room was not as described and I felt like it was a bait and switch. The standard room we were shown was very small, smelled awful, didn't have an in room safe. No glass on the windows...

My second time here, nice clean hotel, Old Spanish décor and style. Large rooms perfect for two. Great staff, food was good, a bit of communication with ordering, but none the less, I got eggs and toast just not an egg sandwich, oh well, egg sandwich wasn't on the menu. regardless, hot food delivered promptly and enjoyed talking, Main purpose...

We've stayed here several times over the years. Can't beat it for the price. Rooms were clean and had the essentials. Staff friendly. LA Hatch across the street stays open late for good nite cap drinks. Dive shop right next door, and dive boats leave the pier right across the street. If you're looking for 4 star hotels with all...

My first impression of our room was that it was attractive and comfortable. But then it turned out that neither the air conditioning nor the ceiling fan worked. So we were moved to another room - not just a room, but a suite in its own, separate building, with a bedroom, a sitting room, a kitchenette, and two bedrooms. Another...

This hotel is closer to the south cruise ship pier (good hike to town) and fairly well priced. Rooms are pretty big and decent enough. Breakfast is not free and fairly expensive, also limited in variety. Not impressed with the food here at all. Try calling the hotel to see if you can get a better rate rather than doing...

I just got back from a stay at Villa Blanca with a high school scuba club that I run. I had 24 in my group and the stay was wonderful! Jorge, the owner, went above and beyond to help us out and work with us to make the stay comfortable. The hotel is quiet and relaxing. It is only a...
