This boutique hotel is just across the boulevard from the water, but the "beach" is mostly rock and coral there. There are many beaches all around the island, and areas for scuba diving, snorkeling, or just lounging... most will cost you a fee on the developed east coast, but wonderful raw sand beaches are plentiful on the east coast... that's where the locals go! I've heard of a low cost developed beach called Paradise Beach on the southwest coast... a few miles south of the Cruise Ship Port.
