Dan runs a very nice place here. With the boutique atmosphere you get a level of service that you can't find at other locations. We were concerned when we booked about it being close to the airport but there are not very many flights and it was very quiet (as opposed to those hotels closer to the action!). Would highly...

Just about to leave from five lovely nights at the little Cozumel hotel of Casita de Maya, but wish we could stay longer. The folks here, owner Dan, cook and bartender Daniel, housekeeper Jolie and all-arounder Eduardo, are just delightful. Dan's recommendations were spot-on, from restaurants to beaches to snorkeling outfits. The place itself is beautifully decorated in a cheery,...

This is, without question, one of the neatest little hotels at which I have stayed. I went down by myself to do some diving, which was to be partially through a company affiliated with the hotel. I wasn't looking for an all-inclusive deal as I prefer to find local food, drinks and entertainment. Casita de Maya is owned and managed...

My wife and I got stuck on Cozumel because we missed our flight and we stumbled upon this place. Dan, the owner was really cool, friendly and accommodating. The rooms were amazing, as well as the story behind it. The next time we come back forget the the all-inclusive, we're coming back here.

My girlfriend and I went to Cozumel for roughly a week and chose to stay here because of the good reviews. We were BLOWN AWAY! The rooms were some of the nicest I have ever been in, the air conditioning unit was fantastic, and the staff were friendly. The hotel has about 5 rooms so it's really quiet and serene....

Fabulous place to stay. A wonderful retreat in a quiet neighbourhood, where you can escape the bustle of the touristy areas. Dan is the host with the most, friendly, unobtrusive, helpful and full of local info. He and his team made our stay relaxing and stress free. Our room, newly finished King room, was just lovely, large, cool and quiet...
