Our family of 4 adults came to Cozumel to dive for a week. We had 2 rooms, each was perfect for our needs. Platano, the room with 2 twin beds, was just right for our 2 adult sons. My husband & I stayed in Mamey & couldn't have been comfortable. The beds are very comfortable, air conditioning works well &...

Unique, striking architecture with lots of clever details (like integrating vegetation and trees into the architecture, hammocks for every room, etc.). Nice and friendly staff, Momo was very helpful. The restaurant in the ground floor of the place is phenomenal for dinner (small, but very creative cuisine). Location is a bit off the beaten path (which can be good or...

The building has a striking aesthetic -- organic and earthy yet clean and modern. That doesn't really capture it of course, you'll have to check out the photos (or stay there). While the windows and doors aren't amazing at blocking out sound, we only really noticed that a couple of times in the middle of the day -- overall, it...

Like other reviewers, I've stayed at a number of hotels/B & Bs here in Cozumel. This was my first stay at Mi Casa; I stayed in the Mamey room and my friend stayed in the Naranja. We chose Mi Casa because a fellow diver from a former trip was staying here for a month--we figured it must be pretty good!...

Hola, Thank you for a long and great review that you sent. We appreciate a lot that you liked our building and most of all that you enjoyed all the trees that we managed to have in the small hotel. I read that you had problems with mixing cold and hot water, you should have let me know to explain...

I've stayed here twice, but in three different rooms. I didn't write reviews at the time (December of 2014 and January of 2016, I think), but now feel compelled to just to help clarify what you will get if you stay here. This is NOT a resort; there are just 9 rooms but because the way they are all staggered...

Hola, Thank you for willing to write a review, now after staying 3 times with us ( it is even better because you have more information to share, and more rooms that you had stayed in). Your comments on what to expect when staying with us should be a great help for review readers in the future. We will consider...

In simple words, this place is unlike any hotel/bnb that I've ever stayed in. After moving around in Cozumel, this place exactly feels like home, when you reach back, comfortable and tastefully decorated. "Home" is the right word, synchronous to the vibes of the architecture and ambience.

We visit Cozumel at least 2 times a year, usually a month at a time and spend 2 weeks at a downtown hotel (Casa Mexicana, Suites Bahia, Vista del Mar) and 2 weeks at an All Inclusive (Park Royal, Cozumel Palace). We had walked by Mi Casa before and decided to try it. We were very pleased. As others have...

Hola, Thank you for your review, coming from someone that stayed with us for one month and liked it, makes us very proud of our place. You mentioned on your review that you plan to come back next October, that is even better. See you in a few months, Memo Lopez

Mi Casa en Cozumel is the perfect place. It is even nicer than it looks online. There are no frills, but if you are looking for an affordable option that is comfortable, quiet and close to the waterfront and San Miguel restaurants, this is your place. The architecture of the building was very unique and very neat! It felt very...

The location is a 10m walk to downtown and the ferry but what you sacrifice in amenities isn't worth the proximity. The "hotel" stands out on a common residential street. No grounds, no front desk. You have to walk up a flights of stairs to get to the main level, then another flight to get to our room (no elevator)....

Hola, Thank you for your review, it will help other potential guests decide if it is what they are looking for or not. Please let me use this reply to explain to future readers that we are in Cozumel downtown (which is not a beach town, even if we are close to shore. It has a rocky shore), and please...

When we arrived we had a problem reaching anyone inside the complex. A young man doing construction across the street (in the pools area) heard us yelling, as well as banging on the door, and he came forward to get us in to the complex as well as getting the attention of the housekeeper. Edema is not only the housekeeper...
