My husband and I have traveled to Isla Mujeres 25+ times over the last 15 years staying at many places on the island. Our son and his wife stayed with Steve & Jeri at La Vida Dulce in Nov. 2011 and they recommended it to us. We stayed for 10 days the first time in Feb. 2012 and for 14... More

What a great little place for an incredibly inexpensive price! +++++ While I got to take a look at all 3 rooms (and they are all very nice) my favourite was Room 2. It's at the back on the main floor and is very quiet...it doesn't have a lot of natural light but I thought it was perfect. I loved... More

As I'm sure you will read the other reviews, I won't go on and on about La Vida Dulce. I booked a room at La Vida Dulce based on the reviews I had read. It's all true. In future, I would find it hard to stay anywhere else on Isla for fear of not having the same quality of vacation.... More

Steve and Jeri's place is a great choice for a home base on Mujeres. Located right in the heart of town, very walkable to all the restaurants, Playa Norte, dive shops, etc. We were in unit #2 and the apartment was fully outfitted with everything you could need -- kitchen, dining area, living room, large bedroom, great 1 and 1/2... I have been to Isla 7 times now and have known many people who how stayed at La Vida Dulce, and finally I was able to stay there myself. WOW! We had the new upstairs unit. It was fantastic! The new palapa and dipping pool are great! The location is perfect to get anywhere you need to be. Beds are... More

I travelled alone to Isla Mujeres and chose La Vida Dulce as my home base. It was a great choice. The apartment was well-appointed, comfortable and clean. I very much enjoyed the palapa roof with the hamacs and dipping pool. I actually had the whole place to myself during my short stay (Pirate, the owner's cute tabby cat, kept me... More

This was our second stay at la vida dulce casitas and it really is awesome. The pros are long: comfy beds, great water pressure, plenty of storage space, lots of fluffly towels, beach chairs, kitchenettes, perfect location, great owners, quiet at night, secure, roof deck with huge palapa and dipping pool. There really aren't any negatives. They are 1-2 blocks... More

Our group of seven rented all 3 units when stayed March 23-30 2012. Four of us have stayed with Steve and Jeri one other time in 2010 and all we can say is they have the best of everything for their renters. They have the perfect location as everything is right by you. Beaches are very close(they even had chairs... More

We stayed at La Vida Dulce from Feb 22 - March 2. All the glowing reviews are true: the bed, air conditioning, warm hospitality. Steve and Jeri are gracious hosts - available (mostly in the morning) if you need something but otherwise allow you to have your privacy. The property is well maintained, the plumbing and electrical were replaced when... More
