Great hotel with very good service, even if most of the staff speak spanish. Nice rooms and clean, with safe box. Yoga courses. Pool. Try to get a room with sea view, even if the rooms at the back are new. Excellent restaurant with local food. Definitely you should give it a try and taste the seafood.

We went for a week stay at Na Balam with our two toddlers and loved it. It has a true Mayan feeling in my opinion. Yes, it is a little rustic in some areas but overall a great place and the most beautiful beach. Pros: Nice big rooms with great, QUIET air-condition (Mr. Slim) Best beach. White sand, turquoise waters....

We celebrated my girlfriends birthday here, a place she has wanted to return to for 15 years. Na Balam is serene and laid back. The staff is very helpful and the restaurant is beautifully located at the beach. The rooms are very comfortable, but slightly outdated, as this hotel was built over 20 years ago. The updates are nice, but...

After visiting Isla Majures several times on day trips from Cancun, we decided to stay there for 3 nights in August. We were worried after so many negative reviews about the staff and hotel itself. We found the staff to be very helpful and nice. They are a little reserved is all and there can be a little language barrier...

This hotel is based in a perfect location and has good facilities for its price level. However, the maintanance and service level totally ruin the experience. Examples: for 4 days we couldn't get someone to fix a leak on the sink, the toilet room stinks with fumes that come out the drain pipe, a/c didn't work and we had to...

The Na Balam Beach Hotel is alright, as compared to the Avalon; however, the Avalon offers a QUIET place to sleep and the Na Balam has the WORST techno bar music EVER on Saturday nights! I am composing this review after being awoken from a sound sleep by the bass shaking my room next to the raging Fenix bar, also...

This is a nice hotel. The room was spacious, clean, with a balcony and hammock. I visited in august, so it was very hot. Nice in the early morning and after sunset for walking. Front desk gracious and helpful and good English language skills. The worst part of this hotel is the restaurant. The staff are terrible. I am accustomed...

My wife and I stayed at the Na Balam for 5 days for our honeymoon. It isn't like the big resort hotels that you see in Cancun. It's a small little hotel with private rooms. We had a gorgeous view of with ocean on both sides of our room because the hotel is located right at the north point so...
