I stayed at this hotel, in a non-airconditioned room for one night only. It was very clean, perfect temperature, and my bed was comfortable. I went around and looked at other hotels in the area, and for the price, found this one to be a good value for what you get. The pretty decor adds character. When you enter your...

We planned to stay on Isla Mujeres and at Francis Arlene hotel for 4-5 nights but ended up staying for 10 nights! When we went the rooms were between 350-650 peso's per night as its low season (higher prices rooms have balcony or also a sea view). We stayed in a 450 peso room had air con - you can...

This hotel was exactly what we needed. My wife and I stayed a total of 9 days. Rooms are clean and quiet. By far the best location - 4 blocks from North Beach. Around the corner is the main vendor street and restaurants. Go eat breakfast down the street at the Alexias - great Mexican menu and cheap. Microwave and...

Last year did only a daytrip to Isla and this time wanted to stay longer. Spent 3 nights in Francis Arlene in the beginning of January. The room in the ground floor was huge with 2 king size beds and one single bed. Had also a small kitchen with a coffee maker. The beds were comfortable. The shower had a...

We stayed at this hotel for the first time, though we have been to Isla on vacation for the past several years. Our room was always spotless, the bed was AWESOME (we took a top floor room with A/C and a king sized bed), and we were greeted every morning by the owner as if we were a part of...

Quiet and privacy. Of course, there were not a lot of guests there. I don't know why. The room and entire property were very clean and well-kept. Great rooftop sitting area and very nice patio. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A very good value. My wish list: a plunge pool on the roof and coffee service

I spent three nights at the Francis Arlene with three female friends. It is in an ideal location—one block from the semi-rocky beach, five blocks from the beautiful Playa Norte, a few blocks from the grocery store, and two blocks from the main pedestrian drag with all the restaurants and shops. We spent most of our time at the north...

The location was great, but after looking around the island found cheaper options for the same amenities. Also, they added in an extra tax when we checked out that they didn't tell us about when we asked for the rate. Wireless was also only available in the lobby when we were there. Would have loved to see a hot tub...
