Located near the southern tip of Isla Mujeres, Casa de los Suenos provides a quiet retreat from the maddening crowds of Cancun. It comes with a decent free breakfast served in an open-air dining room overlooking the ocean. Large rooms, free skin-diving gear, paddle boards...More
Definitely had an awesome time here but there were certainly things that were weird. The food was good as were the drinks but they were for sure inconsistent. Inconsistent in both their preparation and temperature. I got a hot dog for lunch one day and...More
Casa de los suenos was the perfect antidote to the craziness of Cancun. The rooms are rustic though comfortable and clean. The shower pressure is not great. The view from the terrace was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast...More

On the other hand, Holbox is more of a small community, which is also definitley worth the visit. Your plan seems good so that you begin your travels with advendure at Holbox, and then finishing up with the top-of-the-line relaxation and leisure ar Casa de los Sueños.
Hope this helps!
