This is a good value hotel on the main market street of Isla, Hidalgo. There are easy 20 restaurants within 2 blocks of the hotel and despite the busy foot traffic the hotel is quiet (except for the church chime). Our room was small but adequate for less than a week visits, wifi on all floors and good in the...

Love staying here in Hotel Bucaneros. Everybody is nice. Breakfast is excellent. Close to restaurants, grocery, and beach. Hotel Bucaneros reminds me of Italy. Tile floor, colorful walls, and close to restaurants with coffee and wine.

Upon arriving on Isla Mujeres the couple my wife and I are travelling with decided to see if we could check into the room's we'd booked a little early. The clerk at the hotel obliged us at no extra charge though only one room was ready ( all good we'll just drop our bags off). However upon check in the...

We loved our stay at the Bucaneros! We had an amazing room on the 3rd floor. It was huge with a small balcony overlooking Hildago. We were very impressed! The breakfast was also good, not huge but enough. Thanks for an amazing stay, we will be back!!

We were on a bit of a budget and this place was just right. Clean room with a decent bathroom and some kitchen facilities. We were worried about the noise as it is on the main street but it wasn't an issue. A buffet style breakfast with cereal, toast, tea and coffee was included.

At soon as we entered the room we returned to the reception with complaints about the full trash can in the room and the poor water pressure in the shower. The great receptionist Jesus had the room cleand all over again and had the shower-head replaced so we had a clean entry and a good shower. We thought our complaints...

I stayed at Hotel Bucaneros for 5 nights at the end of July. It's in a great location, out the front door and right on to Hidalgo st, no cars, just pedestrians. Turn left for a short walk to the beach. The place was always clean. The reception staff, Eyder, Jesus and Lina, were always helpful with local information. I...

Very nice hotel located in the centre of Isla Mujeres near many restaurants, boutiques, grocery store, pharmacy, ferry,... Staff was friendly and helpful but many did not speak much English. We managed as we spoke very good Spanish. The wonderful beach is 5 minutes away by walking. I was impressed by how the room was very clean and everyday our...

Very charming & quaint, excellent service, private, and clean. The a/C in the rooms is blessedly cold. the continental breakfast was also very nice with fresh fruit and toast, coffewm, etc. We had a lovely time. There is also a great restaurant downstairs called Compadres. We had breakfast and dinner there several times.
