Great location, nice rooms, great food, friendly staff, safe and welcoming city! This is an excellent option for vegans and vegetarians wanting to visit Merida, with a vegan breakfast every morning and an excellent vegan dinner six nights a week. Just a short walk from...More
Tasty vegan breakfast.
There was a lovely cat around who made us enjoy our stay even better.
The shower was very nice and the beds very comfortable.
The staff was helpful and very friendly, they helped us solving our questions on the spot!
Medio Mundo Hotel not only offers a central and safe location: the service is excellent and their personal well trained and friendly - they really go the extra mile to service the clients. Additionally, the food in their restaurant "Lo que Hay" is delicious!
Stayed here for only 1 night but were happy with our choice. We liked the location (easy to walk into the centre), it was quiet and clean. Had one of the better breakfasts of our month long tour in the shady courtyard (not included) -...More

I am not sure about the transportation from the airport. We had a car and drove from Cancun so we did not have to deal with this issue. I would contact the hotel directly and ask. Yes, there are seating arrangements either right outside each room or really close to the room. I am sure they would move a couch or chairs outside your room if there were none there as they are very accommodating.

Hello, taking an ADO bus is the cheapest option. It takes four hours from Cancun and the roads and buses are comfortable. You can check the timetable and reserve online by searching ticketbus or ADO. The closest bus stations to the historical center and our hotel are CAME and Fiesta Americana. A taxi ride from either bus station should be about $50 pesos. We look forward to being your hosts in Merida!
