The owners certainly know how to liven up a small space. The bright colors and tropical greenery created a beautiful hideout from the rest of the city. We loved lounging by the pool when it was too hot to be roaming around. My husband was skeptical of the vegan breakfast, but it was just what we needed to start the...

The hotel is unique and pretty. The breakfast was huge and interesting (not the usual eggs since the place is vegan). Room was large, clean and nice. It was really hot and we feared the AC wouldn't be enough for the size of the room but it turned out ok. The staff was super nice including the hotel manager who...

The room, the veggy food for dinner, for breakfast, people working there, the typical colors everywhere in the hotel, made our stay very pleasant for sure. I would recommend it to anyone. +we had to leave earlier than breakfast hours, and they made us something to go on the road

Stayed here in April for 3 nights with my boyfriend on a recent vacation. I chose it based on reviews and pictures describing it as beautiful and economical and (importantly) including breakfast. I was immediately impressed by the beautiful courtyard, vibrant flora, and large fountain. Walking into the room we were pleased with the size, ample windows with wonderful sunlight...

I highly recommend a stay at Hotel Medio Mundo! Its location is ideal. The atmosphere is lush with plants and is serene. Although I was there in July, I did not need air conditioning. The overhead fan was more than adequate. Without hesitation I would stay there again.

A very comfortable, well kept small hotel with a charming open air courtyard painted blue. A delightful, simple breakfast was served in a sunny cool courtyard with a small swimming pool. Our room was nicely decorated with Mexican bedspread and patterned cushion, the light fittings were local too. A good sized bathroom and wardrobe area. All the windows had mosquito...

We arrived in Merida on a Friday noon, and our rooms were ready in 10 mins. We were greeted by Guiler and he was really nice and welcoming. We got into our room and it was exactly how it was in the photos. It was spacious, clean, quaint and colorful. We really felt we were in a Spanish colonial house,...

This hotel is really a oasis in the center of Merida. The rooms are very clean and the beds are perfectly comfortable. Even if you book a room without ac it is quite okay. The vegan breakfast was amazing ( normally I am a meat lover) and the staff is super helpful. Definitely recommend to stay here!!!

The hotel is very tastefully appointed - simple but elegant and charming. Beautiful colors in the rooms and courtyard. The pool area serves as a breakfast and general seating area - also very charming and pretty. The owners live on the premises and their attention to detail shows in every aspect of the hotel.

We really loved this hotel. Beautifully crafted gardens, courtyard and furnishings. Service was excellent and the location couldn't be better. The colour of the decorations and walls and care taken in decorating really made it a visual treat. The breakfast was simple but very good quality and fresh.
