Such a good experience , from the room feature (very nice and delicate attentions like welcome cocktail, flowers and amenities) to the breakfast menu ( very good, generous , authentic) . Excellent service (professional staff) and very well maintained Worth your money ! Go!

Lovely boutique hotel with exemplary service. The rooms are majestic and tastefully decorated in a bygone period style that is both comforting and artistic. The tiny restaurant (6 tables) in the lobby terrace is MUCH better than it has to be and among the best meals we had in Merida.

One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. A restored hacienda in the center of town, with eight beautiful suites and no more. The house is built around an inner garden, has a small pool, and the restaurant, which is truly worth trying, is reserved for guests only. Add to this that the staff could not be nicer...

I am not sure why Casa Azul is not numerically rated in the accommodations of Merida--but they rank as #1 for us and probably some of the best service and comforts that we have ever received anywhere. We came upon them by accident when Expedia and another boutique hotel screwed up our reservation on Carnival weekend. While Casa Azul an...

Casa Azul is the place to stay in Merida. If you went to Merida to learn about the glorious past of this city and to enjoy their continuing resurgence as a safe, friendly, clean city this would be a wonderful hotel choice. They have 8 beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean rooms with 14' (?) ceilings. The staff is friendly, accomodating, descreet,...

We ended here by mistake. Our hotel cancelled a day before arrival (construction Issues?). Expedia rebooked us - yes it took two hours, but they came thru with an upgrade to this very small hotel, 6 or 8 rooms, but with a large gracious courtyard. The rooms are stunning! Service is polite and unobtrusive. It is close enought to the...

I knew I wanted to stay at Casa Azul right away when I first started looking for a relaxing stay in Merida in order to visit Chichen Itza. We had spent several nights at the Fairmont in Playa Del Carmen at the beach and were looking to spend some time in a culturally rich setting. Merida does not disappoint, we...

I had the good fortune of staying at Casa Azul during a recent trip to Merida for a friend's wedding. From start to finish I was blown away. Behind the gates of the noise and bustle of Merida lies an unexpected oasis. The former home of a wealthy local family, the property is everything you could want in a boutique...

We stayed here for 2 nights and can say we have never stayed anywhere like it. The hotel has only 8 rooms, with a pool but no bar. Breakfast and meals are served in the central courtyard. Everywhere is spotless. Service was excellent, as was the food. The only drawback is that it is a little way from the centre...
