This is a beautiful small boutique hotel located right in the middle of downtown Merida. It has about 8 or so guest rooms, each of which are very well furnished and unique. Let's put it this way- they have organic ginger soap and body lotions. The management and service staff here are first rate, and they go out of their...

Perfect place to visit Merida, a few blocks from Paseo Montejo and you yet feel far away from all hustle and bustle... Great staff all the way around, best Tamarindo Margarita and Rafa at the bar recommended some great Mezcal to try. You need to visit this beautiful boutique hotel!

From the moment I arrived at Casa Lecanda I felt as though I was staying with family. Greeted warmly upon my arrival I was offered an amazing Tamarind Margarita that was the best I ever had! The room was spacious, clean and luxurious. The bed is perfect after a long day of sight seeing, on par with the beds at...

this is an amazing boutique hotel in a very cultured city. it is in reality like being a guest in someone's house. It is very well appointed and decorated with a great attention to detail and authenticity. The only downside is the fact that staff speak little English apart from the manager and also the bar which is great is...

A welcoming cocktail from the hotel manager in a former millionaire house in Merida. Flowers, swimming pool in front of our door. A nice Italian restaurant across the street. A nice stop over on the way to Maya sites.

This is what a true boutique hotel is. We had a great room on the top floor with a balcony. The room was spacious and very clean and the WiFi works. The service from hotel staff is great. We enjoyed the included breakfast as well. We did not use the pool but it is clean and well-maintained. The whole property...

We had the most lovely room with two comfortable queen beds, a fantastic shower on the patio level. Service from everyone at the hotel was first class. We enjoyed delightful breakfasts with the freshest fruit, egg dishes and great coffee. Our server was a charming woman, patient with us as we struggled to speak only in Spanish. Like our room,...

I stayed at Casa Lecanda at least four times. I can't thing of another place to be when visiting Merida. Every detail in this small boutique hotel is perfect. Not to mention the attention and care of the staff. Enjoy.

We have just had the most wonderful stay at Casa Lecanda and would highly recommend this as a place to stay for those looking for a quiet high end small boutique hotel that feels more like a home than hotel. Exquisite decor and design and some of the best service in Mexico make this a must for the traveller looking...

The hotel - wow. The breakfasts -wow. The staff - triple wow. Location - excellent. I can't think of one negative thing. After 3 days we felt part of the family and were really sad to leave. There is a real "feel good" factor to this place - I LOVED it.
