Staying at this hacienda was one of the most wonderfully unique and relaxing experiences I've ever had. The owners and staff are friendly, down-to-earth, helpful and provide excellent service. The rooms were clean and comfortable. They make you feel at home. The atmosphere is relaxed and easy going. The grounds are beautiful and full of color and life. Beverages are...

I am a pilot for a major airline based in the United States. I have stayed at more hotels and been in more cities than most people will see or stay at in a lifetime. My wife and I have traveled extensively. We have never gone back to the same place twice… until we found Hacienda San Pedro Nohpat. If...

My ten-year-old daughter and I ended up staying an extra night because we like this place so much. I felt like I was in a Gabriel Garcia Marquez novel... in a faded but elegant old henequen plantation with secret stairways, colorful birds, friendly burros, fountains, butterflies and winding trellises. The owners couldn't have made us more comfortable - upgrading us...

This was our second year visiting the Hacienda. It was like we never left. Our needs were met immediately and we were treated as honored guests. The trip downtown in the tricycle is not to be missed. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet and make for a great night's sleep. We have started our months trip here for two...

We were very pleased with the beautiful Hacienda hotel and our modern, clean and comfortable rooms. The staff made us feel welcome as we relaxed around the pool and spacious grounds. Just beyond the noise of Merida, we enjoyed the quiet nights at the Hacienda for sleeping. We will re-book when we next visit Merida.

We really needed to relax during this vacation, but we also wanted to travel and see a part of Mexico that was new to us. The Hacienda San Pedro Nohpat was the ideal place for landing, getting some rest, warming up from a hard European winter and doing our first steps in Yucatan. I loved our beautiful, romantic room and...

We stayed at this gem of a Hacienda on a recent family vacation. Iona (the owner) is a super hostess, she makes you feel relaxed and right at home. The Hacienda itself is very comfortable, has a authentic feel and takes you back in time like no typical hotel can. The location is fanastic for exploring not just Merida but...

This January marked our ninth year visiting the Hacienda San Pedro. We were met with enthusiastic hugs and handshakes from Iona and J.R., our hosts, and immediately began to feel relaxed and at home. The casual atmosphere makes you feel more like you are visiting with friends, rather than an impersonal hotel setting. If you are looking for an archaeological...

We had another totally enjoyable stay recently at the Hacienda, and continue to recommend it for a relaxing vacation to the Yucatan area. Like any other vacation property, the staff can add much to your vacation experience and also deserve recognition. Papa, the gatekeeper, will greet you, guide you into the property, and look after your bags. Roberto maintains the...

Whatever you do in Merida AVOID this place. Behind the pretty website pictures and picturesque descriptions is a place that delivers a lot less than promised. All rooms are musty, paint is peeling, swimming pools are Unheated and poorly maintained, in some rooms AC works only some of the time, all areas (outdoor and indoor) are dark and poorly lit,...

My deepest regrets my staff and I failed to meet your family requirements the two weeks you stayed at the hacienda over Christmas. I hired extra staff . We supplied an additional room and additional full size beds for no extra charge. I cant imagine putting heaters in the pool and changing what most people find charming about a four...
