My mother and I stayed here this past March. It's a perfect location for walking to all the main attractions right off Calle 60. The property was very clean, well kept, and owner and staff very helpful with any information needed. It is exactly what you see on their website, accomodating my mothers needs with changing our room to the...

Tom, who runs the property, was very helpful and easy to work with. We had a guide who was not arriving until about mid-night our first night there and Tom readily volunteered to stay up to let him in, show him where to park, etc. The rooms were quaint and typical, which was to our liking, but very comfortable. It...

We stayed recently at the Luz for a few nights in the Casita room. This is the one with the bedroom and entrance/bathroom separated by a balcony. There's not much I can say besides what others've already said about the hotel. In general, we enjoyed our stay here and the room was comfortable. We were welcomed with a couple of...

Th location was perfect: 1/2 a block from Santa Lucia park, about 3 blocks from the main park of merida, and about six from the market place. I loved the pool and the way all the rooms were unique. It felt like were staying in a house. The kitchen was a great plus and the staff was incredibly helpful and...

This place has won 3 TripAdvisor prices and it's definitely worth it. They make you feel at home, with such great attention from Tom. The rooms are more like little apartments, with a living room with bed sofa, microwave, drinkable water, frigobar, and 2 beds. All for about 60 USD for two people. They can even borrow you an hamaca,...

The rooms are big and equipped with all you can need: coffee maker, a water dispenser, a fridge and even a microwave! The shower is so huge! Not only the owner is kind but all his staff is...

I spent two nights in Luz En Yucatan and felt right at home and comfortable. Esteban greeted me and was very kind and helpful. My room was lovely and the location was perfect. The 2-page guide, given to guests at check-in, lists restaurants, shopping, tours etc. I found it very helpful and accurate. The room included plenty of purified water,...

Merida was our last stop after a 6 week Journey through North America and Mexico. Heard some good things about the town and read a couple of good reviews on Lux En Yucatan. WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! Only stayed 3 nights, but the staff were fantastic, very friendly and helped us book a great tour to Chitchen Itza. The hotel was...
