After staying in many top tier hotels in Mexico, Hotel Marionetas, rates as one of the best for security, cleanliness, location and hospitality. The owners, Dan and Sofi Bosco, are obsessed with perfection and it shows. From my king-sized bed (I'm over 6' and the typical Mexican double bed is too small) to the excellent phone system and cool swimming...

We visited the Hotel Marionetas in May 2005 and were extremely impressed with the quality of the hotel. We love the décor and furnishings. The hotel has, by far, the best beds and bathrooms we've encountered in a privately owned hotel anywhere in our travels through Latin America. The service is impeccable and the hotel is immaculate in every respect....

Hotel Marionetas is a wonderful place to stay. My husband and I and our six-year-old daughter stayed here for five nights during our first trip to Mexico, in April 2005. Peaceful and comfortable, it is a true oasis in the city. The decor is exquisite, the food is outstanding, and the people who run the hotel are unbeatable, especially Sofi,...

We more or less decided on the Hotel Marionetas based on Trip Advisor reviews, and there is very little I can add to the numerous positive reviews listed here. The distance of the inn from the bustling city center is close enough to be convenient and far enough to be a welcome sanctuary from what can be a noisy city...

My wife and I paid our second visit to the Marionetas in February, 2005, and it was even better than the first time. Charming, wonderful colors, great location, wonderful breakfasts of fresh fruits and pastries, and the nicest proprietors on Earth. The colors and decorations of both the public areas and rooms are just breathtaking. It is relaxing, a short...

If you want a beautifully furnished room, in a small, personal environment, you could hardly do better than this. Our room was spacious and beautiful, and unique from the other rooms... Sofi is taking her time oufitting the new B&B, choosing each object carefully. And breakfast! More than we could eat, different each day, and delicious. Just six blocks from...

A perfectly lovely small hotel. The rooms are large, simply and very tastefully decorated, and perfectly clean. Ample, excellent breakfast which changes daily. The owners' fund of information and candidness about everything Yucatanese beats any travel agent's as we learned the advantages and possible drawbacks of every possible excursion. Tours, guides, were arranged. There was no slip. All our outings...

This B&B was first class all the way. Tho owners, Sophie and Daniel were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious and the staff was all cheerful and willing to help, even though some of them did not speak real good English, they tried. The rooms were charming and i loved the bed sheets, they were soft and very...

A small boutique hotel, with nice but small pool. Room was pleasant but lacked furniture (no dresser) but bathroom shower was good (we could've use more towels)--the hotel help were quite obliging and kind, especially the breakfast cook, who tried to make you happy with the food ! Great location, quiet, aire conditioning, non smoking, no television, no radio, no...
