We had two rooms for three nights last week at the lovely Angeles de Merida. Though unassuming from the street, the inn is absolutely beautiful within. Dawn, the owner, clearly has an amazing knack for interior decoration. I found myself snapping a million pictures in an effort to capture some of her ideas! The inn is a ten to fifteen...

It's rare when a long-planned vacation ends up exceeding expectations, but our 1-week post-Thanksgiving stay in Merida was magical. And our hostess, Dawn Cutts, was the wizard! From the beautifully designed, meticulously detailed, decor of the her Guest House itself, to the fresh-fruited full breakfasts she prepared for us daily in her pool-side kitchen, to her always on-the-money advice about...

We were recomended to this hotel by some good friends, they travel a lot so we trust their recomendations. So glad we took their advice. We had a wonderful weekend in Merida staying at the Villa, fantastic staff, great service. Large and very comfortable rooms - but it's the gardens that make this place incredible. From the courtyard fountain garden,...

We loved our room in this colonial gem - very comfortable and beautifully furnished. Breakfast served by the pool every day was great and best of all, the owner went out of her way to answer all our questions about Merida and all the attractions, including many that you won't find in the guidebooks.

Loved the ambiance and friendliness of Angeles de Merida. The owner, Dawn, is so helpful and knowledgeable about the area and was always ready to recommend things to do and places to see. My room was beautifully decorated and very spacious and comfortable. I'll definitely be back.

We stayed at Angeles de Merida for four days and wished we had stayed longer! We were greated like family by Dawn and shown to our amazing room, Acosta, which has two double beds. This place is so clean you will not believe it! Dawn's assistant Maria takes a lot of pride in cleaning your room each day and she...

Let me begin by saying that my husband and I have stayed at some amazing 5 star properties within the US and the Caribbean. I booked this B&B because I felt it looked like the kind of property which appealed to our overall sense of style. I have to admit....when we arrived in Merida our first impression was a bit...

Merida is a city of charming old houses and elegant architecture. Angeles de Merida Guest House was treated to complete renovation and design make-over, inside and out. All spaces have been redefined with a distinct mix of old and new, making the contrast between modern, minimalist interior and historic, traditional exterior a bit eclectic, as well as relaxed and comfortable. ... more   less
