We had a wonderful stay at Casa Ana. I can't recommend it highly enough. Our room was comfortable, pretty, cool and impeccably clean. The garden is a tiny serene oasis, full of flowers and plants and has a lovely little pool. The breakfasts are absolutely delicious, varied, creative and beautifully presented. Ana and Mariana, the owners, were so helpful in...

This is a long overdue review, but this place still brings sweet memories of our stay in Merida. Looking back we believe Ana and Mariana run one of the most authentic and laid-back b&b we have ever stayed in. Our room, #5 if I remember correctly, faced a cenote like plunge pool surrounded by a lush garden and tropical fruit...

I just returned home last night and I'm already missing the beauty and peacefullness of Casa Ana. I stayed for 10 days and loved every minute. Ana is a wealth of knowledge about Merida, and has great tips on everything from restaurants and shops to which are the best day excursions. Her recommendations are always spot on! Everyday after walking...

Casa Ana is a well-situated oasis amidst the noise and bustle of Merida. Close the door behind you, and you are in a world of flowers, gardens, and art. The hostesses are warm and welcoming. Breakfasts are delicious, varied, and tastefully presented. With advance notice, they will make dinner as well, and it is delicious! We came to Merida to...

¡Mira! As a B&B, this place is perfect. Close enough to town on Calle 52 y Calle 53, but not too far out - just enough to cut down on a lot of street noise. Walk to Santa Lucia park in just about three to five minutes, and to Parque Grande/Principal (the zocalo) in about seven minutes. There are plenty...

We stayed here 4 nights in the Habanero room and were very happy with the quiet and welcoming atmosphere of this B&B. Every morning, Ana makes a different breakfast each, not huge, but very well prepared and artfully presented. The garden here is very special with lots of tropical plants and a small swimming pool (which we did not use)....

Just returned from Merida. One of the highlights of this trip was this B & B. As women travellers, we felt safe and nurtured. Artistic and spiritual environment. Quiet courtyard with beautiful tropical plants. Good Breakfast. Extremely well kept. Will make this a regular stop on all future trips to Merida. Greal location in the historic district. Great value too....

We stayed for 3 nights in the Buganbilia room - which although a little basic, was spacious and clean. There was air con, a ceiling fan, and good mosquito netting on all the windows. As one of the guide books mentions - the internal walls to the bathroom don't reach the ceiling, so if you are very particular about privacy...

We stayed at Casa Ana over new years, and I cannot recommend it more highly. The garden and pool area is a delightful oasis of green and peace in central Merida, the rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, tastefully traditionally decorated, and the attention to detail in every aspect is superb. Ana is a lovely host, the breakfasts are delicious, it's...
