We stayed ten nights at David Reed's Los Arcos and enjoyed every day. Walking into Los Arcos is walking into a museum, filled with art, masks, icons, etc. Besides David you're also warmly greeted by Nina, the terrier. For most of the year two rooms are available which were built at the end of the lush, pooled courtyard. Opposite one... More

My husband and I have just returned from spending several days in Merida, at Los Arcos. David is the consummate host of his B&B. He has wonderful suggestions as to activities, restaurants, as well as where to go to mail a postcard! The beautiful pool provides a tranquil respite from sightseeing activities. Spending the day sightseeing necessitates energy and the... More

This was our 3rd time returning to Los Arcos, now as friend rather than just a guest. David provides the ideal place to start ones journey in Merida. The breakfasts are huge, amazingly presented and different each day. The garden and pool area offer a little bit of paradise, a kind of secret garden. A beautiful place to spend the... More

Comfortable rooms close to the main square and its great restaurants. VERY nice pool, a hard-working, attentive host, and a breakfast that was simply amazing. The artwork and furniture are museum qualitly. We'll be back.

I truly, truly can't imagine a better Bed and Breakfast. Dave is a knowledgeable and friendly host who provides amazing stories, breakfasts and all you need to know to take in the area. The breakfasts alone are a reason to travel to Los Archos. Each day is different, filling and wonderfully good. Each day Dave’s meal lasted us until dinner... More

David was a most excellent host from the word GO! His home is wonderful, exotic, comfortable and provides the perfect base to explore both the city, as well as the surrounding area. The rooms available are separate from the main house, which provided just the right amount of privacy. We enjoyed breakfast in David's amazing garden every morning. The garden... More

We had a wonderful stay at Los Arco's B&B! The garden room we stayed in was in a beautiful courtyard setting where we had a great breakfast every morning. The proprietor was very helpful and knowledgeable about things to do and see during our stay. It is located within walking distance of many great restaurants and the Plaza Grande. We... More

This turned out be be a great place to stay, and located close to a lot of things to visit and see. They have great rates that won't break the bank for longer term. When I visit Merida I will surely stay there again.
