My husband and I visited Merida for the first time in August. We had no idea of where to stay in the Colonial area, but after looking at the Casa Santiago website we decided to try it. Boy did we score! The accomodations are very comfortable - especially the beds. The rooms and bathrooms and clean and attractive. The complimentary...

Last week, I rushed to Merida to close on a house I saw last month that I decided in about 15 minutes to buy . For the big event, I was looking for a comfortable place to stay in a convenient location. A friend suggested Casa Santiago. Brilliant idea! I stayed four nights. In the midst of all my activity,...

The owner of Casa Santiago got our arrival information ahead of time, and their shuttle service picked us up from the airport and took us straight to the Casa. The four roomed bed and breakfast is beautiful with yellow painted walls and tiled floors. Each room has its own theme. The beds are very comfortable with clean, soft sheets. Drinking...

If you are going to stay in Merida you could not find a better place. The hosts make you feel so at home even before you get there. They booked my tours, pick up from the airport and told me the yummiest places to eat. The casa was lovely and was walking distance to town. The breakfast was delicious, the...

Merida is a marvel in itself, the perfect spot for basing daytrips to various sites throughout the Yucatan, and I cannot imagine a more ideal location to experience the magic of the city of Merida than at Casa Santiago. Entering the B&B you are immediately greeted by the warmth and charm of the beautifully decorated environment. The first thing that...

Well, I don't know where to begin. I have stayed at many B&B's around the world and generally have had positive experiences. I always consult Tripadvisor and usually go with the information I read from reviews. This was my third trip to Merida, which is a wonderful city, by the way! I stayed elsewhere on the first two. But Casa...

We chose Casa Santiago because of their website advertising. I normally abhor B&B's because of the forced intimacy but Casa Santiago did not appear to be not your average B&B, which we were delighted to find out was true. We booked directly on Casa's websight for seven nights from April 1st to the 8th, 2008. I was impressed that Vincente...

We just returned from Merida, Mexico on the Yucatan Peninsula and what a great trip. We were trying to escape the cold and snow of New England. After doing some research on the internet and checking Trip Advisor, we chose Merida for its location, near the Mayan ruins, near the coast and not Cancun during spring break. We like to...

I really enjoyed my stay. I usually do not stay in B & B's when I travel, beacuse I don't like feeling like an intruder in someone's home. But at Casa Santiago, you don't have to worry about that since the owners live next door. So here I got the best of both world. Vince and Frank were wonderful to...

My husband and I stayed at Casa Santiago for 6 wonderful nights. Our host, Vincent, made us feel welcome. He offered a lot of great advice and even joined us on one of our side trips. Vincent has such a great personality and genuinely nice person. He made us all feel special. The place is just as the others described;...
