We were house hunting in Merida this winter and wanted a comfortable, quiet, no frills place to stay for a while. In Mexico budget wise hotels often mean a sacrifice in peace and quiet, & cleanliness, and no pool. What a delight to discover the Yucatan Vista Inn. No vistas, but it most conveniently located around the corner from the...

Traveling solo, I didn't care about luxury--I just wanted a clean, comfortable place to stay and a good rate. The Yucatan Vista Inn exceeded my expectations. I stayed in the Merida room which is a large room with two queen beds and a nice walk out balcony that overlooks the courtyard. The hotel is in a quiet area and is...

We stayed two days in Mérida, and the Yucatan Vista Inn was a great choice. Mr. Thatcher, the administrator, was very helpful and gave us good suggestions for our trip. Since he is from Britain, you will not have any problems if you do not speak Spanish. He also has all the information for tours and sightseeing. The rooms -...

Arrived in Merida not intending to stay more than a few days. However the comfort and sheer value for money which this hotel offers made me re-think my travel plans and I ended staying for much longer than I had expected to. Its clean, friendly, quiet has a great owner/manager and staff and a relaxing laid back atomsphere. A continental...

Stayed at the hotel three nights on April, 2013. The hotel in general is very clean. Owner and staff are friendly and knowledgeable about Merida and its surroundings. They let us use the fridge and the stove in order to supplement the continental breakfast. The location is excellent; you can walk to the Plaza and has a private parking. A...

This is a great place in the heart of Mereda. Nothing fancy but more than adequate for ones needs. Clean, spacious, friendly and exceptional value. Five minutes to Centro. Could walk to just about everywhere although North Mereda was a wee hike. Quiet, safe neighbourhood of Mayan character was pleasantly pleasing. A friendly neighbour even helped me find the place....

This small hotel was a great find and great value. In centro, but in a quiet area, with large rooms (2 beds), ample storage and closets, a bathroom with a bath (although we never used the bath), a/c, a pool, and a light self-serve breakfast included, for under $30. Can't beat that! Also good wifi, clean and with parking. We...
