Always hard to review a place that strives for the middle ground. This place is not trying to compete with high end properties and offers strong value for the price/location. PLUS: Location. Quiet. Clean. Price. Very good value but there are compromises. At a different point in life when I used to beach-camp in a VW bus, this would have...

Wonderful! A little paradise in the midst of busy 5th Avenue. Security is great, staff is very friendly and helpful. A lot of new upgrades throughout the hotel. Bath linens were wonderful. Very clean. We will stay there again if in town.

Casa Ticul is a great hotel on 5th Avenue in Playa Del Carmen, the staff are exceptional Yuritzi is extremely friendly and very helpful. The location is on 5th Avenue, but in an area where there are not alot of the louder bars. Restaurants and stores are right outside the door. A nice rooftop breakfast every morning including eggs, pancakes,...

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Ticul. Nice staff, great breakfast, good location and quiet, comfortable room. Nice little pool and tastefully decorated. The stay included access to a number of beach clubs which made For a different beach experience each day. Very nice! Would definitely recommend.

I'd say this is a 3-star hotel - not real fancy, basic accommodations, and a bit worn. However, it deserves 4-5 stars as a hotel at that level. The hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating, the breakfasts are some of the best I've had for an inclusive meal, and the location couldn't be better. It is located on THE...

We stayed in this hotel for 5 days and nights last December. And this was the longest we stayed in 1 place during our entire trip! I wish we could say that we received the same, warm treatment but we did not! When I asked the reception if they had hotel parking, I was simply told no! And to my...

We stayed 3 nights here and it was perfect for us! My husband and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary here and were greeted with rose petals, confetti, and towel-folded swans on our bed! The hotel is very well kept and clean. The daily rooftop breakfast was delicious and complimentary! The hotel is smaller but really cute and quiet. Although...

Lots of construction noise all during the day-so not able to relax. Also, misunderstanding about shuttle from airport which cost me a lot of money-more than planned/agreed upon. The staff making breakfast was awesome!
