This new place doesn't even have a permanent name over the souvenir sign that marked the previous occupant of the corner location. It is Argentinian with an open grill located in the dining area. It features grilled beef and chicken as well as some pasta. On a Thursday night plastic chairs were set up outside for the waiting customers. Word of...

Good value for a great location. The room was clean, though bare/no frills. Building faces a church, which was picturesque, but be prepared to hear church bells around 7-8am. For 1 night it was fine, but if staying in Playa any longer, I would look for another place.

The location is great. It's literally two blocks from the main street in Playa del Carmen (5th Av) where all the club and bar area is. The rooms are clean, have a great space, and akmost all of them have balcony. The prices are great. Its a simple way to go to Playa del Carmen without going to a expensive...

I have stayed here and only here the last 3 trips I I have taken to play de carmen. Not only are the affordable but they are the sweetest staff i have ever encountered. The trip before I took myself and my two small children. I became very ill and could not get out of bed. The front office staff...

We have stayed here before and I forgot my iPad. They saved it for me and I got it back so when we decided to come back to Playa Del Carmen, we decided to stay here again. They have even improved the hotel! It is cleaner and nicer than last time! It is in 15th and 12th Ave Norte, two...

This hotel was affordable, clean, and the people were very friendly. Unfortunately the church across the road decided to ring their bell (which sounded like a horrible gong as opposed to a nice bell) at 6am, then 7am, then 8am and finally we got out of bed. Not sure why, it was a Friday morning. That was a deal breaker...

We stayed at this nice, clean little hotel while on our way to Cancun to pick up visitors from the states as we winter in Mahahual (4 hours south.). It was very clean, the proprietor was very accommodating and the prices were right, 750 pesos. Parking was on the street but close and the owner helped us park so that...

My partner and I stayed here to splash out a little after a full day on a bus from Guatemala. We arrived at some ridiculous hour after midnight and the night-guard was very kind to let us in without much fuss (no reservation!). The Ado station (the second one in Playa) is very near, only two blocks away. The room...
