We were looking for a room right on the beach next to 5th avenue and this was perfect. The room was spotless and we had a view of the ocean, which was lovely. Also, breakfast was pretty decent and was served from 730-1100 for free. If you require a resort to be happy obviously look elsewhere, but I would absolutely...

Great place to stay if you want to explore 5th avenue but have the each right outside as well. Lawn chairs are provided. The only complaint is not the hotel's fault. There is a new hotel 2 doors down called The Carmen which pumps out thumping music to all hours. Their management responds by blaming other venues but the loud...

Wife and I got away for a vacation - found this little gem. We booked room 203 - with a large balcony that overlooked the beach. We had an older style hot tub that we filled, but did not use. The room was clean, with ample air conditioning and ceiling fans. The bed was comfy - but could have used...

We rented the suite that overlooked the water and it was incredible. It's right near town and many good restaurants. One right next door let you put your feet in the sand at the waters edge had great live music cheap beer and good food for really reasonable prices. Great place to stay. Highly recommend the suites on the beach.

We booked the Pelicano because it was cheap and right on the beach. A little bit pessimistic after reading some reviews, but I must disagree with a lot of them. Simple facts are that this is a bottom price range hotel. If you expect the Ritz, pay the price of it. The hotel is absolutely fantastic as a place to...

First of location is fantastic, my favorite street area to stay out of entire 5ta Ave. Great places to eat, Starbucks on next corner, beach access, fantastic location! Elizabeth from front desk is so incredibly sweet and helpful. Very honest, planned all our tours. She is great. Now the negatives... Rooms are in awful shape but clean and safe. Bathroom...

I usually go all inclusive so I wanted to try something different. Pelican Inn is in a great location, reasonable, clean and quiet. It is very basic, no frills. The restaurant had good food and the waiters were very nice. My only complaint was the reception was a little snippy , we wanted to get in our room early, it...

Situated in a quiet area, on the beach and only 2 minutes to the busy 5th Avenue. The hotel is clean and our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Elizabeth,Iris and Reuben who showed excellent customer service. They were able to book trips and offer a cheaper price than on the...

Love the location, with a few steps you are on the beach! Where you can enjoy a nice lunch and good drinks, especially Miami vice (a 50/50 mix of pinà colada and strawberry daiquiri) be aware that they are strong and huge, easily buzzed ;-) The bed was too hard for me and the room needs an upgrade, and the...

We are currently in the Pelicano Inn right now. Having read some of the reports i was apprehensive however, it is perfect for a lower budget hotel. The rooms are clean and large. Beds comfy and working aircon. Yes it makes a noise, but nowhere near bad enough to spoil your sleep. Staff are friendly. Location is right on the...
