It was a great place to stay whyndam Maya Viva. All the accomodations we're good and services as well. The restaurants at night were perfect and I recommend Gabriel and Maria for their good services at Mediterranean restaurant.
The resort was amazing and the people that work there truly make you feel like family. I’m legitimately sad to leave such a great community of people that work there. They always greet my kids and I by name and go above and beyond to make us feel at home, while experiencing all the amazing things the resort has to offer like trapeze, nightly shows, an amazing beach, kids club, spa, and more! A special thanks to Emanuel, Mauricio, and Dani at the trapeze, for making our trip so special, as well as Liliana at the front desk! More than checking something off our bucket list, we actually want to come back and see everyone again! Kory
Clean hotel, comfy bed, good food but not too much variety, awesome staff, clean pools, beautiful beaches, lots of activities, good animation, good restaurant a la carte, nice rooms and clean! The only thing is that is on the bad side is that its 1h from airport, covid PCR test is expensive but it’s ok, after all, we are the ones who wants to travel. Since covid, no beer or liquor in mini fridge in the room but at the pool bar, you can get all that on tap. 2 water bottle at arrival in your room and there is water machine everywhere so you can fill them up. Small but awesome hotel! I would go back for sure.
Adriana at the COVID test office was super accommodating. She made everything quick and easy. I was not a guest at the hotel, so if you think it’s weird that this is the only thing I’m mentioning, that’s why. I stayed at a local AirBnb, but THAT’S how impressed I was with my experience, needing a COVID test to get back into the US.
Service from Elliot was wonderful :) This was my second time visiting the resort and second time eating at Don Diego (always a favorite). The mango margaritas are good, and is the poblano soup and the Tacos de Chuletas. The chocolate cake is also delicious.
