The location of the hotel to the main activity was perfect. Gardens provided a natural calming ambience during our stay, and the swing bar was a plus. The staff went out of their way to take care of our requests and the rooms were comfortable.

This was my second year at the Luna Blue, and it was even better than the first. After spending a day at the beach or on an excursion of one sort or another, we were always happy to walk through the gates of the Luna Blue late afternoons, and we were always welcomed with a friendly "Hola" by either Juanaro...

We returned for the fourth time to Playa del Carmen, and stayed for the first time at Luna Blue in February 2008. We really loved the hotel. It was perfect for us. It's small, very quiet, clean, pretty and friendly, but not invasive in any way. The rooms were reasonably-priced and attractive. We stayed in a kitchen suite and we...

We spent 6 nights at the Luna Blue in Feb 2008. The courtyard setting is beautiful and very relaxing. Be sure to take bug spray as the bugs love the jungle setting also. We stayed in a standard room(As there were no larger rooms available because of the popularity of the Luna Blue) it was small but well worth the...

We stayed for eights nights in early February as part of a longer trip. So much has already been posted I would just add a few semi-random notes. The rooms and hotel are very nice, but don’t mistake it for a high-end boutique hotel. It is sort of hard to rate since the amenities of the hotel would make it...

My husband and I have visited Playa del Carmen 4 times. This trip was the best so far. I believe the Luna Blue was a large part of the positive experience. First of all, the Luna Blue is a very, very nice hotel. It is very clean, well run, comfortable, close to 5th Avenue yet far enough away to feel...

We had a good vacation and staying at the Luna Blue was the perfect choice for our visit to Playa Del Carmen. For the past 16 years we have stayed at mostly large resorts. We weren't sure what to expect with a small hotel. After reading the reviews on TA we thought LB has to be a great place or...

You don’t get much better than this when it comes to quality and value. It has a great location very close to the beach and near lots of shops and restaurants. My room was clean comfortable and had everything I needed including WIFI. The owners and staff were awesome! About the only thing I could complain about was the water...

Great communication up front when booking a room here and the place is quaint and perfect for those who really are going to spend more time out than in. I am here right now writing this review on the complimentary WiFi which is a great feature for someone like me (I'm technically here for work on a photoshoot). I got...

We stayed at the Luna Blue Hotel and Garden for our most recent trip in January. We keep coming back because this hotel just keeps getting better and better. This is my first time to post a review on Tripadvisor, and I wish I had done so earlier. The staff has been with this hotel for some time, and are...
