We landed here after a long drive from Chichen Itza to be politely told that children below 15 were not allowed(missed the fine print in there not so clear site). We had two rooms booked We had a year old child with us so we were told Ta Ta. No refund they said, but grudgingly they returned about 50% on their own... More

We stayed in Secret Garden Hotel in Tulum for two nights and we wish we could have stayed longer. Joshua could not be more helpful. He even paid our taxi fare one evening as the driver did not have the correct change for us! The hotel is really clean and very comfortable. Breakfast facilities are perfect and the wifi is... More

Loved staying in town and Paula had great pointers for eating in town and exploring the area. We rented bikes for 80 pesos/24 hours and went to the Tulum ruins, gran cenote (if you don't mind biking near cars) and down to the beach. Absolutely gorgeous town and I can't wait to go back!!

My 7 night stay at Secret Garden was wonderful. The staff and owner were hospitable and accomodating. The hotel had been highly recommended by a close friend of mine who visits yearly. The room was clean, comfortable and the garden area was tranquil and beautifully kept. I found the location to be very convienant and just a couple of blocks... More

Forgive me, Joshua, for this review is long overdue! I have been your guest 5 times, since 2010. I love your hotel and the love and attention you and your staff (especially Maura) put into the property and into the service you provide your guests. I have stayed in 2 different rooms as well as one of your bungalows and... More

This is a budget hotel, but still a little pricy for what you got. The garden is very nice, and the people who work there are going above and beyond. For some reason I assumed that there was a pool, so that was my first disappointment. When you not in a resort at the beach Tulum is not as developed,... More

Awesome spot in Tulum town! Beautiful gardens, EPIC HAMMOCKS, and an adorable dog. The rooms are very cute, with lots of little touches like incense and decorations. The wifi was a little slow and there were pretty insignificant issues in the room. But this isn't a luxury beach hotel, it is a great place to come home to after a... More

Very friendly and personal level of service. The hostesses know you by first name and you will get plenty tips and information custom-cut to your likes. Garden is a great place to lounge! Bungalow is a basic accommodation with rather small double bed and without AC. Bathroom sink has no hot water and water pressure is very low. All sounds... More
