This was one of the best hotels we stayed in our 5 weeks holiday in Mexico. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Mathias and Paula gave us very good information of the city and gave also tips for the coming cities. We think it was better stay in the centrum than in the coast. Hotel was also quiet.

The Secret Garden is exactly that - a beautiful hidey hole in the middle of Tulum centre. The hosts are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Everything was clean, and water and hot drinks were complimentary. The price was also very reasonable. There were 3 of us, and 2 beds, which was plenty of room. The beds are very comfortable. Staying...

The Secret Garden is a reminder of the spirit of the Lonely Planet 25+ years ago. I spent two nights in a Bungalow. Everything about was just right. Plenty of filtered water. Coffee. Comfy bed. A third speed ceiling fan--no need for A/C. Very well-made palapa. Dark via window shutters for that deep sleep. Breakfast was a bit simple. No...

We loved our stay at Secret Garden. An easy 3 minute walk from the bus station and we were sent warm and clear directions from the hotel. The welcome was fantastic: we were shown around our room and the hotel and told about places to go in town. We stayed in the hotel's cheapest room, and it was small but...

The staff is very polite and helpful and was able to answer all of our questions about sights, tours, etc. In the morning a good breakfast is provided. Our room was clean and also had a little kitchen area....

The address is difficult to find, specially if you're driving. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's pleasant enough for a short stay. We only spent 1 night and it rained during the night. We left before sunrise and the entrance of the place was very muddy making it difficult to load our rental car. All in all, we...

Myself and my partner absolutely loved this place! Easily the friendliest staff we've come across in our trip through Mexico. They promptly responded to the request I made when booking. When we arrived they gave us the map and all the information we needed for our 3 night stay. They were always around for pleasant, casual conversation and any further...
