We read an earlier review warning that this resort had been a building site out of season but we blithely assumed things would be different in the week between Christmas and New Year. Not so. Not only is the adjoining site (which may be under common ownership) a building site, but so is the resort itself, with work on some...

My partner and I came to Be Tulum Hotel during Christmas and we were so disappointed for many reasons. 1. We booked a jungle suite and upon arrival was given a basic room, no jacuzzi, no pool as we were expecting. For $900 a night; we were not expecting a basic room. Upon complaining, the front desk moved us to...

If you like to relax, eat breakfast on the beach (with your feet in the sand), sleep with the AC on, have delicious freshly made juices, fresh fish tacos and great steak - look no more. I walked up and down the beach of Tulum several times and I didn't see one hotel that was comparable to Be Tulum. This...

spent a day here after visiting Tulum ruins. it was very nice: beautiful beach, comfortable chairs, good food and drinks. Had to buy something at the bar or restaurant for 500 pesos but it was easy because we were hungry after our adventures, prices are close to American but everything tastes very good. Wonderful place. the only disadvantage was that...

Stayed at Be Tulum for 4 nights over April 2016 -- our first time to Tulum. We had high expectations for the property given the pictures, price, and generally positive reviews. Rooms: our first room was #2 which was near the front entrance and by the street / construction site. This was NOT what we were expecting and not an...

We have stayed here before but on this trip we just came for a lunch visit and cocktails at the beach. OMG i still absolutely love this place. We were there right before the Holiday tourist kick off which was great because it wasn't that busy. We spent couple hours having lunch the salmon tartar, the fresh grilled snapper and...

Be Tulum is one of the most amazing places I have visited! A very different set up to typical resorts in Mexico for those seeking privacy and some quite time. The place has limited capacity so it is very intimate. The staff are amazing - very friendly and helpful and we had such a great time with them :) The...

Yes, there was construction going on from 8am to 6pm everyday but you could only hear it in your room. We were considering leaving but the management offered us a discount and we realized that we spend all day at the beach anyway. If this bothers you, be sure to call the hotel to make sure construction is complete. The...

OMG, this place is amazing. With rooms set in the jungle that were stunning and paths winding down to the most beautiful beach and the Carribean. We were in heaven! The staff were fantastic as was the food and cocktails. Great live music, fantastic weather, the list goes on..... Can't wait to return

The staff were super nice and the jungle/beach setting can't be beat but for $600 per night I did not want to listen to jackhammers, chainsaws, and hammers all day and into the evening. It was so bad that we stayed only one night and moved to another hotel for remainder of trip. The manager, Ana, is a doll and...
