We loved staying at Green Tulum. It is a green enclave on the very edge of town, not quite in the jungle but it feels like you are, with thatched, wooden cabins among trees around a central pool. The rooms are basic but charming (sea shells for faucets) and very clean, with "four poster" beds equiped with good mosquito nets....

My boyfriend and I LOVED this hotel. The cottage is adorable, conch shells as the faucets in the bathrooms. There are mosquito nets for the beds, hot water. The furniture is great. Its about 2 miles from the beach and about a mile to the main strip. We walked almost everywhere from the hotel. The pool is nice, nothing fancy...

Hotel is at best 2 star, far from center. Rooms 2nd floor no airco. Had to negotiate long and pay extra to get 1st floor room with airco. Room spacious, but poorly furnished. Several rooms already condemned and closed off. Pool not clean and many nasty mosquito's Poor service at hotel desk There are many better options in Tulum

Avoid at all costs! The rooms are dark and a magnet for huge spiders and roaches. The water in the pool was gross and seemed like it hadn't been changed in weeks. There was a constant layer of grime on the top, just disgusting. The owner puts on a fake smile and shakes your hand, but he isn't as friendly...

Close to the main road in Tulum, this property is not on the beach. This is an eco enviroment friendly property, so thin walls in the rooms, so expect some noise from other guests. Also can be very cold at night, so bring your PJ and a fleece jumper, and ofcourse no air con. Bathrooms are basic and small. Great...

Overall, I would say it just isn't worth the money. It's much more like a hostel than a hotel. There's minimal privacy between rooms. You hear absolutely everything in the room either below or above you. The whole property is cramped around the pool. The panko roof and poorly done door frames don't do anything to keep Mosquitos out. It's...

I stayed at Green Tulum for 3 nights in March 2016. The cabins were nice, the pool is pretty, but the breakfast was sustenance and nothing more, the bar seemed to be closed as I never saw anyone there, working or otherwise. The surroundings of this hotel are beautiful because it is set back from the road with flowers and...

We stayed here only a night and enjoyed the pool, the dinner at the restaurant and a bar. The hotel itself is a bit hard to find as it is inside town of Tulum but fenced and is really situated in a jungle. The rooms are located in small two-story small houses, one room on each floor. The houses are...

forget the beach. Stay here and save your money. Cabs are cheap and plentiful. Your only a short drive away. The rooms are rustic but spacious and clean. The beds are good. The pool is amazing. Only a short walk to town. You can negotiate your rate!!!

Stayed four nights and it was ok. As the roofs and windows were open you could hear both the jungle and all the animals which was fun, but you also heard your neighbors talking, snoring, arguing among many things. Very simple equipped. No hangers, nowhere to put the suitcase but on the floor. No hangers in the bathroom. Breakfast was...

Born from the green of its surroundings and the authenticity of its structures. Green- Tulum Cabanas& Gardens, in the heart of Tulum, the last virgin stretch in the Riviera Maya. The hotel has 13 artisan cabanas with two floors, a total of 26 rooms. The surroundings are unbeatable, a natural paradise of flora and fauna, with secret nooks were one can devour a book, chat by candle light or simply close your eyes....and feel the Mayan magnetism. The swimming pool makes the hot sunny days a desired element, in order to dive into the cool water, take a "siesta" in one of the sun beds and ask for a cocktail at dusk. ... more   less
