Great hotel w villas on the beach and a nice vibe. Staff are all kind and helpful. Restaurant and bar has nightly entertainment but it isn't invasive or all spring break over the top girls gone wild kind of entertainment. Families can enjoy this place as much as couples. I will return to Zamas.

We had a positive experience with Zamas from the minute we booked our reservation to the moment we left. Laura at the front desk answered all my questions (and there were alot!) via email, including assisting me with a rental car (drop off an pick up at Zamas!) and booking a private transfer from Zamas to Playa del Carmen. The...

Zamas is a thatched place with faux adobe walls right on the beach. A strong warm breeze was blowing all the time we were there, making a steady roar of smallish waves. There must be a reef out there somewhere breaking down the bigger waves. There is a small beach, and a pool as well. Pelicans were soaring overhead and...

We were very pleased and loved our 4 day visit. The setting is beautiful, the staff are very nice & helpful. The location at the upper portion of the hotel zone is convenient for exploring and you can walk to a variety of other spots for a change of scenery. The restaurant is delicious in a pretty open air setting...

Had a really great 4 days staying at Zamas in Tulum, as part of our 2 weeks in Mexico. We stayed in one of the massive beach bungalows - very clean, and metres from the beach. We really loved our morning breakfast and coffee watching the crashing waves! Such a great place to relax, chilling in hammocks reading etc. The...

We stayed in the Jungle Garden Chica room, which is across the street from the beach. It was very nice, but not well thought out since there is no fan or AC, and hardly any windows that open with screens on them, so very stuffy. That's our only complaint! Otherwise the staff was friendly, and the restaurant was great.

The first thing that must be said about visiting the beach community of Tulum is that it’s simply paradise. And because of that, the bar for what constitutes great accommodations is very low. To a huge number of people, a cot in an old shipping container would be adequate accommodation, so long as there was a view of the ocean...

Zamas was such a great find and I highly recommend it to you! The rooms are spacious, comfy, and adorably decorated. The location is perfect - right on the beach, close to cenotes and ruins, walkable to lots of delicious restaurants, shops, and bars! The restaurant at Zamas is DELICIOUS. So convenient to have it there and we were literally...

I'm going to make this short and sweet. This place is great. The grounds are awesome, the bungalows are immaculate. The staff is terrific and the food is off the charts. The place is a perfect location. It's a mix of families, singles. couples. The owners are there all the time and that's a great sign to me. I loved...
