Playa Esperanza is a charming eco-resort, exceptionally located along the pristine beaches of Tulum. Booking was simple and hassel-free. I emailed with Jenny and she responded promptly with availability. We choose Celia Cruz- a single room with private bath and were delighted to find it was just 15 feet from the beach. Playa Esperanza has a cool vibe- a DJ...

Playa Esperanza is located, without a doubt, in front of the best Tulum beach. All the beaches in Tulum are beautiful, but at Playa Esperanza is truly something out of a "wish you were here" post card. With it's signature puertas de la esperanza and the biggest coconut palm tree around it is hard not to stop and just admire...

Without a doubt, this hotel is as good as it gets in Tulum. The place possess the most genuine authenticity in the area as well as represents a true piece of history - the gate of Hope ( La esperanza ) The view of the beach on its own is just breathtaking. The cabanas are neat, tidy and spacious with a...

Nice hotel very well integrated into the environment with little typical houses directly connected to the beach. We stayed two nights in Augustin Lara and Princess (for the kids) which are quite large and conforable houses. The main issue is the hot temperature duing July also during the night with the impossibility to sleep well. As there is no electricity...

We know Tulum is beautifull, but let me tell you just 2 things; 1- the color of the sea, in this side of the beach, is the most beautifull one from Tulum...the water is more brilliant and transparent...the shades of green glow and the transparency of the shore is inviting and relaxing. The sand is soft cream and you can...

I spent one night at Playa Esperanza, the common areas, bar and eating area could use some restoration work but the cabinas are ok. If the weather is nice the beach is fantastic. For the price it's a good deal. The staff are on Tulum beat . The fact that there is only electricity in the evening is not inconvenient,...

Spent the day on the beach and ate our lunch at their restaurant. The hamburger was nice but the water was ridiculously overpriced! The price was not in the menu so we found out when we got the check- 120 pesos for two bottles of water!! (1liter).

Playa Esperanza is located right on the beach. We were living in the Elo Suite which was spacious with an own terrace. Lobby personel were friendly and both check in and check out was made in two minutes. When travelling during summer Months the room was very hot even if we slept doors open. There is no A/C in the...

Ok, maybe if you are but Mexican you can be a little bit confused and think this place has good food. Well, sorry to tell you but they don't, the food is awful, service is crazy slow, and prices are of course overpriced as everything at Tulum. Pros, the beach is beautiful, and the waiters are friendly, but make sure...

Love this Hotel! Very rustic quiet and clean. The staff here is phenomenal. Carlos the bar tender really made our trip special. He was so incredibly attentive and welcoming. The food and drinks from the bar/restaurant was fresh and delicious. If you want a cute, quaint, beach hut , this is your place. I loved hearing the oceans crash all...
