We knew Los Lirios wasn't perfect. But it was only $140./night (Dec 10-17) for a large, clean room with ocean view, well-working A/C, and good-enough wifi, ample beach lounges, and friendly staff. As such, we could easily justify the short walks to some of the best food we've experienced (in order: Arca, Hartwood, Posada Margarita, and next-door Ziggy's) If you...

Stayed for the week of Christmas and had no problems with our room. It was a garden view but could see the beach easily and walk right out the door to it. There was construction going on during the day but we were out for most of it. Had the buffet breakfast which was more than adequate. Wifi only available...

Less a hotel then a compound. No wifi in rooms and barely at restaurant. Management cannot make decisions without speaking to administration who owns them in some other location. All personnel are dressed in security uniforms. Never answers telephone - when I tried to make arrangements prior to arriving received unclear message that no one was available call later. Original...

I have just come back from this place. It is cheap and the staff at reception does not know what service is. After paying the bill without complain, They did not want to physically let us out of the hotel because they thought they gave us a safety lock key which they never gave to us. A stupid white man...

We stayed 2 nights here for a good stay overall considering. Definitively better if you stay in front of the ocean but also the second line is not bad. In general also at the last (second floor) the ocean view is limited by the palms. Take first or second floor. Rooms are large and comfortable, not too clean honestly. Common...

The rooms are clean. And big. The beach is wonderful. Set the bar low on the rest of the place. After seeing other places in Tulum and where we stayed in Playa, I came to the conclusion that ownership and management clearly just doesn't care about customer service. It's terrible. For over $600/nt in the high season, we expected more....

I don't know where to begin on how spectacularly awful this place is. I could start with the sewage that leaked from our toilet (that was never repaired) or the lack of bath towels (we had to share 1 among ourselves and they "forgot" to bring more after we asked for them). I could also dive into the fact that...

I stayed in Los Lirios for 3 nights during my cycling trip. I was quite lucky being accommodated on the first floor, as 4 of my friends staying on the top floor in 3 different buildings had water dripping on them during heavy rain at night. I didn't have air conditioning remote control in my room but aircon was fully...

My wife and I spent 8 nights in December at Los Lirios on our 9th visit to Mexico, the last 3 being in Tulum. Los Lirios is awesome! We previously stayed twice at the adjacent hotel, Cabañas Tulum, an equally outstanding place, but their high rates priced us beyond our comfort zone. All of the properties along Tulum beach, one...

Good things first: the location is amazing! all rooms have awesome beach and sea views. The standard of the whole place is like 30 years old. Breakfast is terrible! Since the prices are not low, you are better spend your money somewhere else.
